5/10Had the good fortune to go to ZaZa’s restaurant first a few days before visiting Dolce Vita. We ordered the exact steak Florentine and the two don’t compare. Quality beef, cost and service much better at Za Za’s.

6.5/10Staff great and nice atmosphere but the food had way too much salt in it. One dish was so bad we sent it back and the mains had the same issue so we struggled to eat it.

8.5/10The starter (carpaccio) and dessert (tiramisu) were excellent, and the mains (gnocch; sliced steak) were very good. The tables are crammed in so it gets quite hot and you’re likely to be bashed by other diners when they leave their table.

9.5/10Nice busy atmosphere. Very friendly and interacting staff. Fabulous food. Crostini Mistri antipasto - very good Tagliatelle with Truffle-excellent Ossobucco - excellent Grilled vegetables - good Great value for cost of meal especially with discount. Would definitely come back again.

Their food was excellent. The place is not too big so not as noisy. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. We went back the next day and verified that their food was just as good as the day before. There are other restaurants that offers similar quality food but much higher prices. We highly recommend this restaurant.

The service was very good and the restaurant was tastefully decorated, the menu was large and varied and we enjoyed our food and wine which was also reasonably priced, we did have to ask for the fork discount we had booked so check your bill

At first glance, the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere with fast and polite service. However, the food was disappointing. We ordered truffle dishes—carpaccio, pasta, and steak. The truffle had absolutely no aroma or flavor, merely garnished on top with a few drops of truffle oil, which suggests either improper storage or low-quality truffles. The meat was burnt and bitter. To be fair, the waiter offered to replace the dish, and after we declined, they did not include it in the bill. I won’t be coming back and believe that Florence has far more delicious places to dine.

We had such a relaxed easy evening meal at La Doce Vita, we particularly booked there because we had found online it was brilliant for lasagne and that was completely true. My partner and I are dans of lasagne but haven’t had it in Italy before, just as delicious as we hoped. The staff were lovely and helpful and as a little bonus as a Fellini movies fan myself the touches of La Dolce Vita around the place were lovely. The red wine we had was lovely too. Very lovely place to eat

6.5/10The food was delicious and our waiter was friendly and helpful. It is a very pretty restaurant too but there are only has a few tables which are all close together. It was hard to talk with others so close and a group behind us. There were a lot of waiting staff constantly walking backwards and forwards and going out the front door which made it rather chilly and far from relaxing. We had a starter and a main course and were in and out in 45 mins. The table next to us just came for desserts and it didn't really feel like a night out. Such a shame in view of all the positives.

4.5/10Despite having made a reservation for 13.00hs, our table wasn’t ready until over 40 minutes later. Food wasn’t all that great either, Pici alla carbonara sauce was curdled. Place was cute but drafty.

8/10The food was excellent. The atmosphere would have been good if our table hadn’t been placed like it was added to accommodate more guests. People coming in had to squeeze past us as well as the wait staff. This did not make for an enjoyable dining experience. Our waiter seemed to be having a bad day or a little overwhelmed, so he didn’t interact with us much other than to take the order and bring the food with no verbal interaction. We reserve the right to try again since it may have been an off night for atmosphere and service.

I really liked the decoration of the place, the service of the staff is friendly and good, the food did not take long, and it tasted good, what I did not like was the bread to accompany it, it was very dry and lacking flavor.
