7.5/10Disappointed with the bistec fiorentina. Purchased the high end cut at 1.7kg (priced per 100 g). No marbling and a huge fat cap. Some tough parts to chew through on the strip side. Cute place and the caccio e pepe was good.

10/10Excellent and authentic Italian restaurant with lovely food, ambience and most importantly professional and very friendly staff. One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever dined in. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Reservations are a must! The service is outstanding as well as the food! Highly recommend the truffle pasta (the presentation is as outstanding as the pasta) and any type of steak! Very delicious!!

Great place and great food! The atmosphere is very Italian with wine bottles displayed on the wall. We ordered the charcuterie board and pasta, both were excellent and this restaurant punches above its weight. We will be back on our check trip, definitely recommend.

10/10Really enjoyed dinner. I had the Cacio e Pepe which was fantastic. Table had the Carbonara (solid) and the Spaghetti al Pomodoro w/ Guanciale (very good). House red wine was enjoyable and the Tiramisu at the end was excellent. Would happily return. Service was friendly and attentive.

10/10The restaurant is small and very attractive; the service is friendly, relaxed and completely professional; and the food is nothing short of amazing. Florence is full of great restaurants, but La Dolce Vita is at or near the top of the list.

5/10Had the good fortune to go to ZaZa’s restaurant first a few days before visiting Dolce Vita. We ordered the exact steak Florentine and the two don’t compare. Quality beef, cost and service much better at Za Za’s.

6.5/10Staff great and nice atmosphere but the food had way too much salt in it. One dish was so bad we sent it back and the mains had the same issue so we struggled to eat it.

8.5/10The starter (carpaccio) and dessert (tiramisu) were excellent, and the mains (gnocch; sliced steak) were very good. The tables are crammed in so it gets quite hot and you’re likely to be bashed by other diners when they leave their table.

9.5/10Nice busy atmosphere. Very friendly and interacting staff. Fabulous food. Crostini Mistri antipasto - very good Tagliatelle with Truffle-excellent Ossobucco - excellent Grilled vegetables - good Great value for cost of meal especially with discount. Would definitely come back again.

Their food was excellent. The place is not too big so not as noisy. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. We went back the next day and verified that their food was just as good as the day before. There are other restaurants that offers similar quality food but much higher prices. We highly recommend this restaurant.
