This was truly our best meal out in a long time. The food was delicious and the service with recommendations meant that we tasted food which we might have avoided normally. I cannot over recommend this experience.

The best meal we have had in Italy. Everything from the friendly staff, efficient service, and great food made this our favorite. We have been to many restaurants all over Europe in the past 4 wks and this was our favorite. Their dishes were delicate and one dish with grilled pasta and vegetable consommé was my favorite, the delicate flavors (small crunch of grilled julienned veggies and horseradish) were amazing! Their watermelon caprese with mozzarella and more classic tagliatelle with ossobucco and just spaghetti with tomatoes were made with concentrated robust flavor… if it didn’t have salt it would be good. All the dishes were just the right amount of everything. It was a wonderful Tuscan restaurant but obviously with an inventive chef …. You must have a reservation.

+1We have been many times when we are in Lucca and it just gets better. We had the tasting menu which was delicious and great wine pairing options from Uri who provided excellent service. A must for good food lovers

10/10Miranda is definitely one of our favourite restaurants in Lucca so we keep coming back! Really friendly team greets you and the little extra nibbles to start are a nice way to start. The highlight was the scallop soufflé on this visit.

9.5/10We had a wonderful time. We visited Cantine Bernardini in February 2019 and had a fantastic experience. We were sad to hear that Cantine Bernadini was closed, but please to know that Osteria Miranda was a sister establishment. The food and service were exceptional. Two of our party had significant dietary restrictions that the staff and chef were able to accommodate seamlessly. The ambiance is not the same as Cantine Bernadini (understandable considering the historic significance of that location), but it was still a very pleasant setting We highly recommend Osteria Miranda

10/10We were really impressed by this place! You can order off the menu or settle in for one of three different tasting menus: vegetarian, earth (meat), or ocean (fish). We did the ocean menu, and it was delightful. We paired it with local bubbles and white wine, following helpful recommendations from our server. There was never any lag between courses, and all the food was great!
