9.5/10We went on a Monday in early December and the restaurant was lively. My wife and I each had a multi-course prix fixe meal; see chose the vegetarian option, I chose the meat option. In all I think we had six course along with an amuse-bouche. Every bite of every course was special and delectable. The portions were perfect so we didn’t leaves feeling stuffed, Lucca may be our favorite city in Italy, and this is the perfect place for a great meal.

10/10A perfect birthday celebration! Ideal for a special meal with friends or family. The complimentary glass of sparkling wine was a lovely treat. We had the sea bass, pork and meatballs, all amazing dishes. The relaxed atmosphere was created through the funky decor and accommodating knowledgeable staff. Thanks Yuri for a magical evening!

10/10The food is always excellent ! The presentation is appetising and the dishes creative for a town/city with an abundance of good restaurants offering classic Tuscan fayre . The kitchen also offers up their own baked bread selection as well as a selection of small ‘tasters’ before the meal starts and in between courses . The staff are knowledgeable, courteous and enthusiastic. The best evidence of all is the fact that this place is invariably full and has evolved into one of the best dining locations in town

7/10The food was very good, er had the vegetarian tasting menu - however the waiter practically laughed at us when we asked if they had any alcohol-free beer or wine, he was unnecessarily rude I felt. Neither of us drink and the last tasting menu we had (Antwerp) came with an accompanying kombucha flight for non drinkers. Also Osteria Pasquale in Lucca which we also ate at (excellent, highly recommend it) had a fabulous alcohol-free beer and gave me a generous glass of delicious alcohol free Riesling on the house. So Miranda needs to catch up because no, we did not want Coke or Fanta!

This was truly our best meal out in a long time. The food was delicious and the service with recommendations meant that we tasted food which we might have avoided normally. I cannot over recommend this experience.
