4.5/10Were interested in visiting this restaurant but didn’t like it. The service was polite. sorry, food was terrible. Can’t understand how the restaurant took 2 stars of Michelin. The pasta had the smell of rotten fish, seabass was like from McDonald's. Really disappointed. And finally the bill was 500€ without expensive alcohol - Fantastic joke. Will not come again.

We are very sorry that your experience at our restaurant did not meet your expectations, and we are also sorry that we did not understand your discomfort during dinner. We could have changed dishes that were not to your liking. For your information, the 2 Michelin star restaurant inside the Brunelleschi Hotel is called Santa Elisabetta, the Osteria Pagliazza is the bistro of the Michelin star restaurant with a different menu and service. The menu of the Osteria Pagliazza includes some of the most iconic dishes of the starred restaurant but they are not among those you ordered. We assume there was a misunderstanding about the reservation, we are in any case sorry that the evening was not a pleasant one for you. We will be happy to welcome you back to the Santa Elisabetta restaurant in the near future having understood that this was your intention. 10/10Great experience. The food was excellent with very interesting selections on the menu. The staff were attentive, friendly, and very professional. The ambiance and space are also great.

10/10Amazing service in a beautiful setting. My wife and I very much enjoyed our evening here. The prices aren't cheap and the servings aren't huge but if you are looking for a very refined dining experience of incredibly well presented and flavorful dishes paired with phenomenal service than you should eat here!

10/10We researched the best Florence restaurants and started following Osteria Pagliazza on Instagram. We were so excited to try it and it did not disappoint. The servers were first rate and very attentive. We each chose the 4 course tasting menu and wine pairing. Everything was excellent.

10/10I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. I went with my mother and brother for a family dinner. Atmosphere was elegant but still very comfortable. We each did the meat tasting menu and had cocktails. The food, pace at which it was served, and overall service were fantastic. We left comfortably full (including my 24 year old brother). I felt the price we paid was very fair for the overall experience we had. Everything was the highest quality. If you’re looking for a very nice dinner, this is it. Hidden gem!

4.5/10Main course arrived cold, got reheated and dressed again ridiculously after asking with instistance (the answer was that the side purée and sauces were served cold, with meat, never seen that). Little portions, The waiter and service were nice and careful but didn't recognize the mistake straight away and finally proposed to offer the main course in question. One of the dessert looked and tasted very cheap, couldn't finish. For the price, it's not worth it although there are good intentions like the olive oil (at least), some originality in the recipes. But sending cold plates this way and serving such a low quality zuccotto is not acceptable for the standing.

9/10Shocked this place was not packed. This food was delightful. Michelin rated/inspired food. The waitstaff was amazing. Food was excellent. A break from traditional/touristy presentation. No college American kids invading. Will recommend to all my friends.

8/10The place is nice and service is friendly. Some prices are pretty standard (pastas, for example), but the markup on wine was a bit shocking. €14 for a digestivo (that other restaurants give you for free) was a bridge too far. The food quality didn’t make up for the high prices, alas.

9/10We loved the atmosphere and the team has been extremely pleasant, helpful and prepared. Our expectations were higher on the menu but overall good feedback on the dishes we tasted. As a starter they “offered us” an amouse bouche from the chef. When we asked for the bill we realized that they had charged it per person.

9.5/10Pleasant, quiet bistro of the Hotel Brunelleschi. We had wonderful sea scallops, perfectly cooked, seasoned with saffron on a bed of leeks, followed by cacio e pepe spaghetti and shrimps. A nice bottle of white Lugana from I Frati, all very reasonably priced, thanks to the generous Fork discount.
