10/10Went twice while on our trip here in Florence. Might sneak in a third time before we leave — it’s that amazing! The servers are fantastic and the restaurant has a wonderful laid back ambiance, unlike the many places in the city that seem a bit overcrowded and try to get you in and out as quickly as possible. Food is beyond phenomenal: the polenta, bolognese, veal steak, soups, chicken, insalatas, desserts, antipasti… you name it, it’s all so so good.

10/10We visited Firenze for 3 days and wanted to make sure every meal was good. Armando and Maggie were attentive and kind. They gave us a Prosecco while we waited for our table. Portions are generous. Ordered the tagliolini con tartufi. Was magnifico. Also the is osso buco perfectly cooked. Highly recommend. Excellent value also.

I’m sorry I wasn’t present on the day the issue occurred, as I had a family commitment. Unfortunately, the waitress that welcomed you had difficulty managing the situation becuase she was unable to clearly explain in English that the requested tables were already reserved. This led to a misunderstanding, for which I deeply apologize. However, I am glad that you appreciated our food and service, as shown by your compliments to those who served you and the tip you left. I am saddened to hear that the overall experience did not meet your expectations due to this communication error. I assure you that we will do our utmost to improve and prevent similar issues in the future. I personally apologize for the inconvenience, and the young woman who handled the situation sends her sincere apologies, hoping to offer you a better experience on your next visit. Your review is valuable to us and helps us continuously improve. I hope you will give us the opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to high-quality service.

10/10Lovely spot and delicious food. In a jet lagged stupor I arrived two hours before my set reservation and they kindly accommodated me. The portions were quite large. The side of spinacci saltati was exceptional.

8/10The food was excellent. Service was disappointing. They forgot our primary dishes and gave us our second dishes first. They promised to bring our the pastas immediately but didn’t. We finished our second dishes and still no pastas. They never checked in or seemed to care about the mistake. We had to ask again for the pastas that eventually came out but they didn’t say anything to us acknowledging their mistake. It was unfortunate given the food was very good.

9/10The only slight negative to Pepo is that there was some confusion as when the primi piatti and secondo dishes should arrive at the table. Might have been some miscommunication on my part. Other than that, food, service, and ambience was wonderful. I definitely enjoyed and would recommend Osteria Pepo.

10/10This is absolutely Florence's best restaurant. During my study years, this restaurant was like a second home. Finally after 13 years of waiting I got to come back to this gem. Still as nice and magical food. The staff are phenomenal and make you feel at home. Everything is absolutely delicious, especially their osso buco and lasagna. We were back several evenings during our few days in Florence during our vacation. This is a place you don't want to miss. Love Osteria Pepo!!

10/10We absolutely loved Osteria Pepo!!! the location is great as it’s close to the major sites in Florence, but Tucktaway, in a quiet, little street, and therefore a wonderful ambience of peace and serenity. The food was terrific and the service was wonderful. I can’t recommend it enough.

10/10This restaurant was a great find! The food was delicious and the staff was amazing. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. We ordered the Florentine Steak for the table. It was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Florence, just make sure to make a reservation because everyone loves this place. We will definitely eat here again the next time we're in town.

9/10The food and service was amazing. We got the lasagna and roasted potatoes, which were outstanding. The only drawback was there was no air-conditioning in the restaurant and extremely hot, so we had to forgo our dessert. The bathroom was big, clean, and had paper towels.

10/10Lasagna was great - steak was top notch. The surprising star of the show was the roasted potatoes. So much flavour and perfectly cooked. House wine was very inexpensive and satisfactory. Get a reso as they were turning many people away at the door.
