6/10Mediocre all the way around. Far better restaurants in Florence at similar price points (Parione, Pitti Cantina, Cinto, etc.). Only saving grace - wine prices are very reasonable. Polenta app was not good. Eggplant app was decent, but not memorable. Entrees were fine, but nothing stood out. Dessert was average. Services was poor.

Very quaint. Lovely atmosphere with excellent service. Food was delicious. We had the Caico de Pepe and spinach ravioli. Lemon gelato was so refreshing and light. Highly recommend.

Very nice restaurant! Food was good and quick:) Nice atmosphere, cute place! Very helpful when we were with less than what we reserved for, moved some tables. Good prices aswell! Would definitely recommend!

9.5/10Asteria Pepo was recommended by friends who regularly come to Florence. They were right to recommended it. Excellent food and a lovely ambience but you need to book in advance to guarantee a table.

10/10This is a wonderful neighborhood establishment with great ambience. White table linens & candlelight on each table. The service & food were among the very best we’ve had in Florence. Would definitely recommend and will return during our next trip.

10/10Went twice while on our trip here in Florence. Might sneak in a third time before we leave — it’s that amazing! The servers are fantastic and the restaurant has a wonderful laid back ambiance, unlike the many places in the city that seem a bit overcrowded and try to get you in and out as quickly as possible. Food is beyond phenomenal: the polenta, bolognese, veal steak, soups, chicken, insalatas, desserts, antipasti… you name it, it’s all so so good.
