7/10They were kind. Ordered our food of 4 people. Got our plates 50 minutes later. But I had to wait 20 minutes extra while all the table eating their food since they prepared a totally different order for me.

10/10Everything was great! The food, ambience and service were delightful.. The staff were all very polite and welcoming.. Alex who took our order was very helpful, provided his recommendations and regularly checked with us if we needed anything.

7/10Senza infamia e senza lode. Rome offers way better food for the same prices. Food was not memorable. Service was fast and nice, but I wouldn’t go back another time. Also I was supposed to get 20% off through The Fork but I did the math and the discount was just 12%?!

10/10We were welcomed like family to this wonderful restaurant in a quiet side street in the Trastevere a short walk from our hotel. Very local experience surrounded by Italian families. We dined al fresco in covered patio in front of restaurant. The food was delicious and lovingly prepared and the service was great!

8.5/10Good option for a casual dinner in Testaccio. Alla gricia was over salted but still good. Beef tartare could have used more flavor or at least a dressing - I ended up adding a lot of salt, pepper and olive oil. Probably wouldn't return without a discount from this site.

2/10Led to a table with no cutlery, not a big issue. Asked for cutlery and they brought it after 5 minutes but no serviettes. Then ordered food and drinks (just a bottle of wine and bottled water) and asked again for serviettes. The starters came after about 15 minutes but no drinks and serviesttes so we took them from a table they had just set up after we had asked for them, this then came with dirty looks from the waiting staff. We informed them that we were still waiting for drinks and they said they’d deal with it but another 10 minutes went by and still nothing. Table next to us had just arrived at this point and had their bottle of wine at their table within 5 minutes. After we had finished eating the starters we still had no drinks and the empty plates were on our table for 10 minutes with no one coming to collect them. We then got the attention of the staff again to ask about our drinks and two of them had a conversation in Italian so we assumed it was being dealt with. We then let it go another 5 minutes when we decided to go up and ask why it was taking 45 minutes to get a bottle of water and a bottle of wine. As we went up they were bringing out the mains. We then informed them that we would pay for the starters we had eaten but did not want the main courses as the wait for the drinks was unacceptable. The man behind the till was very apologetic, however the bald waiter who repeatedly ignored our requests started cussing in Italian and waving his arms about. Service by far the worst I’ve experienced. Don’t want to jump to conclusions but we were the only tourists and I believe this might have had something to do with it. Would not recommended!

8.5/10We took advantage of an early evening discount and really were glad we'd found this place. Ordered stuffed zucchini blossums, Romana artichokes, grilled lamb, beef in tomato sauce, salmon salad, and a vodka lemon slushie. Enjoyed a bottle of the house wine and a bottle of frizzante. Excellent food, lovely waitress (Isel?) and a very nice evening for our first dinner in Rome (this trip!)

10/10This was an absolutely wonderful experience, frankly the best we had in Rome in 5 days. The older gentleman waited on us in a very attentive, yet respectful manner… we did not feel rushed or disturbed. He said he does not speak English very much — but spoke very well. He knows what he serves: the ingredients in food, qualities of wine. The food was delicious, hot and just the right portions for us - while the "Carciofi alla romana" was a small one, the prosciutto with ham was plentiful - and delicious. The pleasant experience comes in details: the melon was perfectly carved out of the skin, so it was very easy to deal with. Small fried zucchini (2 pcs) was one of the best appetizers I had during our Italian Holiday. House wines are very good and offered for fair prices. Their Morellino di Scansano is €8 per glass, very delicious and worth going high on the list of 3 red wines by the glass. We also wound up buying a half-bottle of their house white to go (!), Grechetto di Montefalco. Italian wines are delightful and this restaurant offers a good selection. The outdoor plastic-wrapped tent would have been okay, but reminding us too much of the Corona times, so we chose the inside. At 5:30 PM we were the only customers - nobody in Rome eats this early! The whole dining room was beautifully set: white table cloth, flatware, glasses perfectly arranged. Two fresh roses on every table was a nice touch. (And the toilet even has a toilet seat, which seems to be extremely rare in Roman restaurants!!!) Before we left, the owner arrived and we complimented on the way he runs the restaurant. We certainly hope that he will stay in business for a long time, so next time in Rome we can enjoy another pleasant time at this restautant. Highly recommended! 10/10Came here last year and thought about coming back.all year! Glad we did! Food delicious and service attentive. Crisp white table cloths, gives this a more up market look. Very well priced. This is above average, for the area. Affordably priced. A hidden gem. Definitely a must go to. Grazie mille!
