We order an appetizer, a salad and two main dishes. They served us all 4 plates at the same time. How ridiculous. They just want to push tourists through as fast as possible.

Service was excellent. Atmosphere was fun for my wife, teenage daughter and me. We had the focaccia and carciofo for appetizers and ravioli and tonnarelli for pastas, and the torta for dessert. All was delicious and great value especially in the Trastevere scene. We even took a margherita pizza to go which was great for a couple of midnight snacks!

It was a joke of a salad This is an absolute tourist trap. Terrible Wine, bread was wayyyyyyyyyy too salty. Please dont believe the reviews online, the place isn't worth it.

We had a great time at Otello tonight. The service from Edward was amazing! He made great recommendations, was enthusiastic as checked on us often but not too often. The restaurant was was busy and perhaps the staff was overextended at times but he always came back in and checked on things. The food and wine were fantastic. We had appetizers, and lasagne, carbonara and meatballs. All were great. The chocolate “salami” is a treat. Definitely recommend this place!

Food was average. We were seated outside which was a very cramped area. Further, people around us were smoking. Prices were high for the quality and quantity of the portions. Not a random comment, but based upon a comparison to other meals we had in Rome and other parts of Italy.

Really good service and the food was really good traditional Roman specialities Loved the atmosphere and the waiters were really friendly and helpful. One of our guests had a food allergy and the really ensured that the food was appropriate but still amazingly good.

The wait staff was amazing. They were attentive and efficient. The food was good and we enjoyed it. Didn't love sitting so closely to other parties but that's just a personal preference thing. It was an overall wonderful experience.

Great experience for dinner at Otello. Food and service were both excellent and a great value. Very nice setting in quiet location away from jammed packed scene of area "tourist" restaurants. Normally I don't tip in Europe for average/good service but our server Alex was way beyond average and earned a tip. He made our evening a special experience. Would absolutely return.

We received a very warm welcome by a waitress who gave my daughter a lollipop when we arrived, and the service was great throughout the evening. We were a large group of 9 including 3 kids but they never made it a problem about us having toddlers in, which was a refreshing experience. The oxtail dish was particularly great, and we found the portions very generous. Would recommend to all our friends visiting Rome and Trastevere!

Great food! We ordered fried artichoke and caprese for antipasti, lasagna for first course, oxtail for second course and ended with tiramisu. An explosion of flavors.
