Carbonara was one of the best I've had. Bread was offered upon taking of orders. I should have asked for how much because I assumed it's for free. I was later got served foccacia for a charge of €6.

This is a popular restaurant in Trastevere. It’s tucked with narrow snaky lanes filled with activity and people. The restaurant itself is large, but only the main floor was being used the night we were there. We made reservations for 7pm on a Thursday. Or too crowded when we arrived, but when we left there was a line out the door. I thought the tables were a bit crowded together. Service and food were good—typical Roman dishes but nicely done. Be aware that the bathrooms are downstairs and they are a bit steep—may make a difference for the mobility impaired.

Sadly, it's just not a good spot anymore. The food is nothing special, the hostess was nice, but the waiter was kind of short with us. We went there four years ago, and it was a great, local place, but now it's just a tourist trap.

If you love Italian food, this is the place to be! 🙏 Most of us had pizza and 1 of us ordered a kind of meat dish the waiter recommended, it tasted like goulash but spicy. My personal favorite was the meat dish and Parma pizza. AND all had the right amount of salt! Not too salty or too bland, it was perfect! The waiters were attentive even when it was busy and the atmosphere was cozy! I'd highly recommend booking a table beforehand! If I have the chance to come to Italy again, I would choose this restaurant again!

We order an appetizer, a salad and two main dishes. They served us all 4 plates at the same time. How ridiculous. They just want to push tourists through as fast as possible.

Service was excellent. Atmosphere was fun for my wife, teenage daughter and me. We had the focaccia and carciofo for appetizers and ravioli and tonnarelli for pastas, and the torta for dessert. All was delicious and great value especially in the Trastevere scene. We even took a margherita pizza to go which was great for a couple of midnight snacks!

It was a joke of a salad This is an absolute tourist trap. Terrible Wine, bread was wayyyyyyyyyy too salty. Please dont believe the reviews online, the place isn't worth it.

We had a great time at Otello tonight. The service from Edward was amazing! He made great recommendations, was enthusiastic as checked on us often but not too often. The restaurant was was busy and perhaps the staff was overextended at times but he always came back in and checked on things. The food and wine were fantastic. We had appetizers, and lasagne, carbonara and meatballs. All were great. The chocolate “salami” is a treat. Definitely recommend this place!
