10/10Five couples from the US dined at this restaurant, and we all thought the food and the service was excellent. The wine was “bottomless” and the châteaubriand was tasty. The ambience was cozy and welcoming and the wait staff were all attentive and responsive. It was a much more expensive meal than we had been eating in our trip so far and it was our understanding that you really don’t tip in European restaurants, so we were surprised when they requested a 10% cash tip from us, and said it was customary. My daughter-in-law is Portuguese, and was very surprised by that and said that it is not customary so we weren’t sure if it was just because we were from the US. That aside, we had a lovely evening!

10/10Six of us traveling together had our final evening meal in Lisbon at Pabe. Our experience was very enjoyable. The ambiance, service and food was simply amazing! Highly recommended!!

7.5/10I like the setting. It's quiet and comfortable inside. The service was not hyper-attentive but generally prompt. The food was good, although there was one surprise. I thought with all the tableside trolleys for pouring wine, serving bread, etc., that surely the fairly dear Caesar salad would be prepared tableside, but I was disappointed when it appeared out of the kitchen with the same lackluster heavy dressing and heavy parmesan sprinkles that I find in any American restaurant. Other than that, drinks were great and served in classic rocks glasses. A good meal all around, but I was expecting a little more on the Caesar salad.

10/10I’ve been visiting Pabe for many years. I can say that the restaurant is extremely consistent. Quality is always there, and so is the friendly service. For those who enjoy traditional Portuguese food, I definitely recommend this one.

10/10I loved the amviente we really got the worth of our money and it was worth every penny the fish dishes tasted fresh and I loved the Cosy Ambiente. It's really like you're transferred back to medieval times! Would like to go there again to taste the dishes again...

9.5/10We had an excellent evening dinner. The place is reminiscent of our British old pub with class and warmth. The service is of a professional high class French restaurant and the food refined. Highly recommended.

10/10For a nice and expensive dinner out this is a great place. Looks like an english pub inside. Service was great and the food was good. I really enjoyed the scallop, mushroom and asparagus appetizer. The gave us little tasters of some sort of meat and interesting desserts to taste. They were out of GF bread but sometimes have it.

10/10Very nice Portuguese restaurant with amazing service. We had great seafood appetizers and fish entrees. Nice creme brulee for dessert. Huge wine list. Much recommended.

9/10Pabe is an old school restaurant which means from the ambience, service, cutlery and the menu items carry the tradition with decency. The food is delicious and with a wide variety. We are lucky to have a good meal on our first day in Lisboa.

9.5/10Relied on previous reviews and they were accurate..Great restaurant offering top class menu, well prepared and presented with a wine list that would take hours to go through and offering a wide range of wines from across the world. Definately worth a visit

2/10Horrible service - don’t waste your time. They clearly are indifferent to tourists and kept trying to suggest the priciest items on the menu. The order was ultimately wrong and the head waiter ignored us for 30 minutes. By the time the order was rectified everyone’s food was cold and inedible. Truly bad experience - the worst from our entires trip through Spain and all of Portugal.

9.5/10First night in Lisbon and wanted an authentic Portuguese restaurant. This more than met what I was looking for. My wife had the cod and described it as the best she has ever had. Service was excellent, always filling glasses but staying out of the way. Strongly suggest Pabe as we had a great evening.

10/10Real old school restaurant with impeccable service and surroundings. Food was simply delicious, wines tasty. Cheese sample with jamon can't be beat. Shrimp with garlic, tender. I could have had more heat from Chile. The cod was refreshingly not over salty the lamb tender and roasted properly with perfect seasoning and sauced sparingly., Letting the lamb shine. Ooof now we are stuffed but that's right, it's cake and port time. All supper yummy. The staff was incredible, no, really incredible, they actually cared. Will sing accolades from the mountain tops when we return home.

10/10Atmosphere was so elegant yet relaxed. Food was upscale but affordable. Our party of 6 enjoyed and shared a variety of appetizers, entrées and desserts. Every bite of every dish was excellent!

10/10Excellent food and service. The scallop dish was my favorite. The octopus was my main dish and it was exquisite. Highly recommend this place - get the Cidra Chardonnay to pair with fish dishes. Outstanding.

8/10The food here is really, really good. The vibe in the decor is more like a 70' or 80' pub. The waiters were wearing facemasks, come on it's 2022 and this COVID is here to stay, so relax and let your employees enjoy their workday too. Waiting staff is a little to quick to remove dishes and push for the next course. Please breathe in, breathe out and let you customers do the same. I can't comprehend why there aren't more customers here the food is REALLY, REALLY GOOD!!! Yes, I meant to "shout" that at all the people not visiting.
