This historic restaurant includes a good selection of traditional Portuguese dishes. You will find no spicy chicken wings or hamburgers here. Just as well. The octopus dish was salty but staff were extremely costumer oriented and gladly solved the issue. This is not your usual fashion restaurant but an historic spot and good choice for those wishing a bit of calm close to Marquês de Pombal. Fantastic wine menu with great offer of wines from Portugal.

Favourite restaurant in Lisbon. The ambience is a travel back in time… service is attentive to details as it should in a luxury establishment. Really respectful and approachable staff members. Highly recommended for lunch, dinner dates. Oh and I almost forgot to mention the food is delicious.

Staff were attentive enough, but I can’t believe how this place has such high ratings. The food was certainly nothing outstanding, at best average. No atmosphere at all. We were rewarded for our celebration with a cake which was a nice touch. But the whole experience was distinctly below average, and pricey too!

The food and service at Pabe were absolutely phenomenal. The servers were lovely, very helpful, and kind! The food was incredible, we had the ceviche, octopus salad, grilled sirloin Portuguese style, pork belly, and the crème brûlée. Stand outs would be the ceviche as the sirloin as well as the crème brulee! There were only 2 other tables when we dined so there wasn’t much of an atmosphere but the food and service were so good, we would absolutely come back!

Very old school style and decor. Food was well presented and good albeit a little too salty for my taste. We also found it overpriced compared to the many other restaurants we tried in our past two weeks in Portugal.
