This is probably the best restaurant in Lisbon if you want real Portuguese food. The fish was incredible…

Joana’s tableside service was exquisite, as was her attention to all other details of our meal. The food was creative and unfailingly interesting and delicious. Next time in Lisbon, we’ll be there again.

+1The food was amazing, I had their truffled scotch egg and then the orange pork belly, all washed down with a wonderful wine! The staff were lovely and attentive. I would recommend this restaurant as it has an extensive menu of food and wine

The restaurant had an air of gone days, which would have been ok, but we got a feeling that the restaurant had not progressed into modern time at all. One waitress was doing her best, but the other waiters including the sommelier were arrogant and lazy and much more interested in the football game on TV, than customer service. The food was average at best, the clams were less than average, actually the worst portion of clams during our stay in Lisbon. The price to quality ratio was inferior. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

This historic restaurant includes a good selection of traditional Portuguese dishes. You will find no spicy chicken wings or hamburgers here. Just as well. The octopus dish was salty but staff were extremely costumer oriented and gladly solved the issue. This is not your usual fashion restaurant but an historic spot and good choice for those wishing a bit of calm close to Marquês de Pombal. Fantastic wine menu with great offer of wines from Portugal.

Favourite restaurant in Lisbon. The ambience is a travel back in time… service is attentive to details as it should in a luxury establishment. Really respectful and approachable staff members. Highly recommended for lunch, dinner dates. Oh and I almost forgot to mention the food is delicious.

Staff were attentive enough, but I can’t believe how this place has such high ratings. The food was certainly nothing outstanding, at best average. No atmosphere at all. We were rewarded for our celebration with a cake which was a nice touch. But the whole experience was distinctly below average, and pricey too!
