We went to this restaurant 2 days ago and were so impressed we returned last night with friends. We were warmly welcomed and seated immediately. Menus given and asked if we wanted to order drinks immediately, we said no and were left to peruse the menu. A few minutes later a waitress came with the cover and we refused, on our previous visit we'd accepted and although the pate and butter were extremely good they were filling! Our food orders were taken and the manager suggested a wine which was of medium price but was very good and suited our food. There was a short, acceptable wait before starters were served and all were superb. Main courses followed, again all very tasty, good quantity and well presented. Deserts again were good. We all had different choses and were all very pleased. Service was attentive throughout but not intrusive. Although the restaurant was busy there was no delay in service other than what was needed for the dishes to be prepared. Price very good.

This was an absolute treat. The staff is fantastic, the food is absolutely amazing, and the environment was fantastic too. The Tuna Tartare and the Ovos Rotos starters were extremely well done both taste and presentation wise. The mains, Arroz Marinho e Lingueirão was very well done, full of shellfish and rich flavours. The Açorda de Marisco was one of the best we’ve had with rich flavours and shellfish. Great restaurant to visit again

Very good in all aspects. Food v. good, service likewise. Over eaten! All food we saw served looked good. Prices ok, wine good range and price. Inside with air con, or outside, shaded but warmer than inside, that said it is 36°! I had the burger which was very tasty with crisp chips. My husband had the sea bass which looked good and he was happy with. The chocolate desert was gorgeous and the coconut pudding tasty with flavourful pina colarda ice cream.

The restaurant was a delightful setting. The wait staff were terrific. Spoke good English. The food concepts, while very appealing on the menu were never quite executed to perfection. Things were just a tad off. For example the sea bass was a “tad” overcooked. I think we got the chef in training! Would recommend it anyway.

We were met and shown to a very suitable outside table. The menu is very interesting with several intriguing mixes of flavours and good descriptions. Service was excellent. Our starters of Polvo and Tuna Tartare were generous, attractive and delicious. Equally the main courses, both served with unusual sauces which enhanced the dishes. We enjoyed talking with the Chef - he has excellent ideas and his staff carry them out well in a small, open very tidy kitchen. We have already re-booked.

A great restaurant just outside the touristic area. Go there for the excellent food and service. Relatively new!
