10/10SIMPLY AMAZING! The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. We traveled 30 minutes by Metro and foot to get there but is was so worth it! Highly recommend!!!

10/10Pastanaga came highly recommended to us by friends who had dined there a year earlier so we had wonderful expectations before arriving. The owner, Ana Borba, welcomed us into her restaurant as if she were inviting us into her home. We received a personal overview of the menu and detailed descriptions of every item lovingly offered. The food, the service, and the atmosphere left no disappointments. We've already requested that our travel group add Pastanaga to their restaurant recommendations list for Lisbon----and we will be coming back!

Our dinner at this cozy restaurant was one of the highlights of our stay in Lisbon. The delightful owner/chef visited our table and helped guide us through the menu. The oozy sheep cheese on the cheese plate was extraordinary! I had the confit cod prepared in what they called the old fashioned method and it was beyond delicious. I’m so pleased that we discovered the wonderful gem of a restaurant that is authentic but a bit different from the typical traditional Portuguese restaurants.

10/10What a fabulous little restaurant, the owner came out and had a chat with everyone, all the staff were wonderful, the menu is small but everything is homemade and absolutely delicious, we had a wonderful meal and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, if we come back to Lisbon we would definitely visit again.

10/10We made a last minute reservation for 11 people based on others’ reviews. We were over the top thrilled to have a room all to ourselves. The chef personally came to describe the menu to us and her love of cooking was clear. Our waiter was lovely always there to refill a glass or bring something for us. One of our best experiences in Lisbon.

10/10A dining experience at Pastanaga is a 'must do' when traveling to Portugal. It has been a highlight of our trip to Lisbon. From the time you arrive, you feel a warm, welcoming embrace from all the staff - especially the sommelier and the owner/chief. Their knowledge and attention to detail are focused on one common goal - your dining pleasure. Enjoy!

Food and service were really good. We had the mini aubergines and chicken satay to start and the poultry pie and burrata as mains. All were very tasty, with the poultry pie in filo pastry being one of the best main courses we’d had in Lisbon. Overall, a very satisfying experience.

10/10We were in Lisbon having a long weekend break for my husband's 60th birthday. I chose to book Pastanaga based on the menu and previous reviews. The restaurant was very pretty inside and outside and had a lovely ambience. My party of 4 people, each chose a starter, main and dessert. The food was incredible and beautifully presented. Ana came around to each table to talk and it was interesting to find out more about the food. My husband was delighted by a surprise Ana made in the restaurant, and it really made his evening so memorable and special. Thank you so much for a fabulous evening x

This is a wonderful restaurant. It is down an alley so no cars or busses passing nearby. Several other restaurants nearby. The food and service is exquisite. This is our second visit in a few years and we would make it a must visit upon any future visits. Great wines choices and aperitifs.

10/10We have been here several times over the past few years. My wife is Celiac and needs to eat Gluten-free, which Ana is very known about. This last visit Ana saw our reservation and went out of her way to make something gluten-free exclusively for my wife. Ana is amazing and we'll be back next February on our annual visit to Lisboa.

10/10The food, the service and the atmosphere. Anna, the chef and owner, was lovely and prepared a custom dish for my husband when he couldn't decide what to have... the location is charming, down a quiet street, and inside the restaurant was equally cozy and lovely. this was our FAVORITE restaurant in Lisbon.
