10/10A dining experience at Pastanaga is a 'must do' when traveling to Portugal. It has been a highlight of our trip to Lisbon. From the time you arrive, you feel a warm, welcoming embrace from all the staff - especially the sommelier and the owner/chief. Their knowledge and attention to detail are focused on one common goal - your dining pleasure. Enjoy!

9.5/10Food and service were really good. We had the mini aubergines and chicken satay to start and the poultry pie and burrata as mains. All were very tasty, with the poultry pie in filo pastry being one of the best main courses we’d had in Lisbon. Overall, a very satisfying experience.

10/10We were in Lisbon having a long weekend break for my husband's 60th birthday. I chose to book Pastanaga based on the menu and previous reviews. The restaurant was very pretty inside and outside and had a lovely ambience. My party of 4 people, each chose a starter, main and dessert. The food was incredible and beautifully presented. Ana came around to each table to talk and it was interesting to find out more about the food. My husband was delighted by a surprise Ana made in the restaurant, and it really made his evening so memorable and special. Thank you so much for a fabulous evening x

This is a wonderful restaurant. It is down an alley so no cars or busses passing nearby. Several other restaurants nearby. The food and service is exquisite. This is our second visit in a few years and we would make it a must visit upon any future visits. Great wines choices and aperitifs.

10/10We have been here several times over the past few years. My wife is Celiac and needs to eat Gluten-free, which Ana is very known about. This last visit Ana saw our reservation and went out of her way to make something gluten-free exclusively for my wife. Ana is amazing and we'll be back next February on our annual visit to Lisboa.

Anna, the chef and owner, was lovely and prepared a custom dish for my husband when he couldn't decide what to have... the location is charming, down a quiet street, and inside the restaurant was equally cozy and lovely. this was our FAVORITE restaurant in Lisbon.

10/10We visit this restaurant several times each year when we visit Portugal. While there are many fine restaurants in Lisbon not many have this level of personal service in a smaller cozy space that makes you feel as though you're family. We enjoy a small handful of establishments like this that bring us back year after year. Highly recommended and worth the trip.

10/10We went on a Monday for my wife's 50th Birthday romantic dinner. Everything about this place is excellent. The food is beautiful, great flavours, excellently prepared and great presentation. The desserts here fantastic! A very well though out and delivered restaurant. Will definitely return.

10/10Absolutely wonderful! We had a delicious meal, each of us somehow ordering something that reminded us of our childhoods. We struck up a conversation with our neighboring table, who mentioned the same. This would be remarkable if it were only for the home cooking but I’m American, my wife is Russian, and the other guest is Thai. My wife compared it to some kind of beautiful magic. Stellar experience. The chef came out and spoke with us a couple of times, told us how she made the dishes, and gave personal details about each. Don’t miss it!

10/10A gem of a restaurant in Lisbon. It was recommended by a friend and the restaurant sure did live up to her suggestions that "we had to dine there." It's a lovely little place. Uniquely features a dining room on two sides of the same street. Delicious well prepared food with playful presentation. Great wine and service as well. We all agreed it was a highlight of our Lisbon dining experience.
