This was one of our favorite meals in Lisbon. Will, our server was so warm and friendly. The decor was cozy and makes you feel like you are having dinner at someone's home. The food was fresh and flavorful. Would highly recommend! Thank you for a wonderful evening.

7/10The price to atmosphere/quality ratio is not correct. Also the rating on GM. They need to do something about that dirty back alley with clothes hanging overhead the tables, increase the portion sizes and work on dishes themselves - they felt like indian food arrenged in a silly little tower. The service was good and the taste and freshness of the food were also good. But overall andisappointment.

Dear Serob, I'm so sorry you weren't able to perceive and cherish our culture. I'm proud of this street!! Its people, its customs... 'Fishermen's Street'... It was a poor street, where the fishermen lived... I sincerely hope the clothes continue to hang in the windows, that the locals don't leave... That the atmosphere of this street lasts forever!!! 10/10Best meal we had in Portugal…hands down. Absolutely incredible dining experience! The service was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Every dish, including desserts, was delicious, we left nothing behind. Even our 4 and 6 year old finished their entire meals. Highly recommend!!

10/10Pastanaga came highly recommended to us by friends who had dined there a year earlier so we had wonderful expectations before arriving. The owner, Ana Borba, welcomed us into her restaurant as if she were inviting us into her home. We received a personal overview of the menu and detailed descriptions of every item lovingly offered. The food, the service, and the atmosphere left no disappointments. We've already requested that our travel group add Pastanaga to their restaurant recommendations list for Lisbon----and we will be coming back!

Our dinner at this cozy restaurant was one of the highlights of our stay in Lisbon. The delightful owner/chef visited our table and helped guide us through the menu. The oozy sheep cheese on the cheese plate was extraordinary! I had the confit cod prepared in what they called the old fashioned method and it was beyond delicious. I’m so pleased that we discovered the wonderful gem of a restaurant that is authentic but a bit different from the typical traditional Portuguese restaurants.

10/10What a fabulous little restaurant, the owner came out and had a chat with everyone, all the staff were wonderful, the menu is small but everything is homemade and absolutely delicious, we had a wonderful meal and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, if we come back to Lisbon we would definitely visit again.

10/10We made a last minute reservation for 11 people based on others’ reviews. We were over the top thrilled to have a room all to ourselves. The chef personally came to describe the menu to us and her love of cooking was clear. Our waiter was lovely always there to refill a glass or bring something for us. One of our best experiences in Lisbon.

10/10A dining experience at Pastanaga is a 'must do' when traveling to Portugal. It has been a highlight of our trip to Lisbon. From the time you arrive, you feel a warm, welcoming embrace from all the staff - especially the sommelier and the owner/chief. Their knowledge and attention to detail are focused on one common goal - your dining pleasure. Enjoy!

Food and service were really good. We had the mini aubergines and chicken satay to start and the poultry pie and burrata as mains. All were very tasty, with the poultry pie in filo pastry being one of the best main courses we’d had in Lisbon. Overall, a very satisfying experience.

10/10We were in Lisbon having a long weekend break for my husband's 60th birthday. I chose to book Pastanaga based on the menu and previous reviews. The restaurant was very pretty inside and outside and had a lovely ambience. My party of 4 people, each chose a starter, main and dessert. The food was incredible and beautifully presented. Ana came around to each table to talk and it was interesting to find out more about the food. My husband was delighted by a surprise Ana made in the restaurant, and it really made his evening so memorable and special. Thank you so much for a fabulous evening x
