8/10We had the ceviche and mussels started, both excellent. Then the scallops w linguine and the black tiger prawns. The scallops were very delicious and cooked perfectly, as well the prawns were really good, but unfortunately the truffle mash served w the prawns did not work for us. Too finely mashed so it felt like a paste. The staff did offer to make an alternative side, but by then we were done with the mains so we declined. The service was really good and friendly, just for that it is a place worth going to. We went early in the evening and it was a good ambience, but as more customers arrived it got louder. Still, a very good experience and to be recommended.

9/10The food was fantastic. Original and good. The place has a great vibe, nice color and disposition, really a nice atmosphere. I didn't put 5 stars because there was a no too strong but somewhat unpleasant persistent smell of detergent in the air, took us some time to stop noticing it. The real bad part was when we received the bill with a big message on the box saying "service not included" and then when we the waiter insisting on how to give "any amount we want" on top of the bill. That practice is is illegal and false. In Portugal, service is included. Like in many other countries, if the service was great, you will add a tip. But most restaurants in the more touristic areas, "play" with the words, and pretend service is not included, because there are a lot of Americans in Lisbon, and indeed in the US the service is not included. This despicable tactic allows them to cash in 10 to 25% on top of bills already very expensive for Portugal. That is frankly disgusting.

10/10My wife and I have visited Lisbon in three of the last four years. Every time we went to Peixola and it has always been the culinary highlight of our stay. The location, the food, the wine and the staff always are a guarantee for a fantastic night. I just wished, they would finally sell those damn fine Peixola T-Shirts the staff wears.😉 Thanks again guys for another lovely evening! See you next year.🦩

10/10When we first arrived we were welcomed and chose a seat. Of course it was early as we are accustomed to eating at 6:00. Both my husband and I are music lovers so music caught our ear and entertained is during our time here. Eric the bartender/server shared that same love so we enjoyed wonderful conversation on that subject. We had 2 different appetizers one with shrimp and the other with mussels both were fresh and delicious with a combination of what I think of as Portuguese and Thai flavors. Our main dishes were great too. Both were suggested by Eric. If we lived in Lisbon we were be here every week!!

5/10Food was decent. Service felt discriminated. Male vegetarian server didnt seem to get me for 3 times when i entered restaurant and only check-in often on Western table beside us. Noone checked in on us. Female server was friendly and helped to order extra drinks (when we ordered of cos!) Everybody got extra port wine when they paid, except us! Made us wonder if its probably we are yellow skin?

9.5/10Great quality food and very friendly prompt service. We had tuna tartare, octopus, shrimp taco, sea bass and a chocolate mousse. All were excellent. With a bottle of wine plus an extra glass each, the bill came to around €110. Good value for the quality.
