9.5/10Nice and relaxed little place with a new concept, everyone around the bar in the same table. Excellent fusion sea food, especially peruvian ceviche and tuna tartar. Highly recommended!

10/10Unbelievable meal, service, ambiance…best we had in Lisbon! Creative menu, absolutely delicious! You won’t be disappointed! Have the soft shell crab burger…we ordered one and had to have another for dessert!

10/10Absolutely fabulous charming little restaurant with the best fresh seafood we’ve had while in Lisbon…very friendly and a nice surprise from the heavier traditional Portuguese fare. We highly recommend this place but make reservations so you don’t miss out

10/10Bar seating only but makes it a fun atmosphere to talk with the staff and other diners. We only ordered the small plates which were excellent and filling. Definitely a great find and highly recommend if visiting or living in Lisbon. I have put it on my list of top restaurants to go to when visiting Lisbon.

10/10Would highly recommend this excellent fish restaurant. It is a small space with a large central bar. The food, drinks, service and atmosphere are outstanding at a price point that is great value. It would absolutely be a regular if we lived in Lisbon.

10/10I ate at this restaurant the last time I was in Lisbon and I loved it so I was keen to come again on this trip My friend and I loved the food - it offers the perfect fusion of traditional and contemporary cooking. I'll be back in Lisbon in November so I will definitely come again then.

10/10We all absolutely loved our meal here. All 5 of us had the most delicious meal. Every mouthful was memorable and the wines were also fantastic. The service was also superb. We will definitely go back next visit to Lisbon.

10/10Excellent food at this gem of a restaurant. Every dish is delicious. My absolute favourite is the soft shell crab sandwich. Superb fish dishes. Friendly staff and chefs! Don’t miss this one.

About the restaurant
A tradição marítima histórica do Cais do Sodré, fosse pelos marinheiros que vagueavam inebriados pelas ruas do bairro ou pelas varinas que apregoavam o seu mais fresco peixe desde o cais até à ribeira, impunha abrir um espaço que celebrasse estas duas memórias lisboetas e fê-lo conciliando Rum e Peixe.
Contemporâneo e todo ele invocando o mar, o peixola é uma cervejaria que serve só e somente peixe seja interpretando clássicos nacionais como o picapau ou o bitoque (ambos com atum) ou dando uma volta ao mundo com famosos os tacos de camarão ou o ceviche peruano.
