I had the pleasure of dining at People on my own, and it was simply perfect from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I felt warmly welcomed — the staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely kind, creating an atmosphere that made me feel completely comfortable and at home. The ambiance is elegant yet relaxed, ideal for enjoying a wonderful meal by yourself or with company. And the food… absolutely exceptional! Every dish was beautifully presented and full of rich, balanced flavors — clearly crafted with great skill and passion. It’s rare to find a restaurant that delivers this level of quality across the board: impeccable service, stunning cuisine, and a delightful setting. I left with a big smile and the firm decision to return soon. People is, without a doubt, one of Lisbon’s finest dining experiences — I can’t recommend it highly enough! 👏✨

It was our first time at the People and our expectations were high due to the excellent reviews for this restaurant. At the end of our meal, only one thought came to our minds: we need to pay another visit very soon! From the impeccable service offered by the Team to the extraordinary dishes this restaurant offers, everything was perfect and spotless! Well done to everyone at the People and certainly a place not to be missed if you are visiting Lisbon and looking forward for a memorable moment.

This was our first visit to People and we were very impressed with the very high quality of the cuisine we ordered and also the professional and friendly service. We ordered one starter and two main dishes all to share. We were surprised that they were all served separately so we were able to experience each dish on our own. It was nice that each one was beautifully presented and large enough to get the full effect of the creative flavor combinations. We don’t always order dessert but our waiter’s recommendation was perfect and made this the one of the best non-traditional Portuguese meals we’ve had in Lisbon and at a very reasonable price. We’ll definitely be returning to People.

We were some of the first guests that evening, and the staff was VERY attentive while the restaurant was still empty. The restaurant filled up very quickly and there were many Portuguese guests. I appreciate that even as foreigners we were treated friendly. Overall we had a lovely Dinner and I would recommend it.

From the moment you step into People, it exudes professionalism. The food, the service and the ambience are outstanding. We both had shrimp, but different preparations. And we ate every bite. The service was impeccable -- not overbearing but very attentive. The servers are real pros. They offered the cover without sticking it in front of us, for example. I had the vegetable soup as a starter. I'm not quite sure what the base was but it was amazing. The dinner was served quickly. We didn't have dessert but imagined it would be the same quality. People is our favorite Lisbon restaurant, hands down.

Have been wanting to dine at People for a long time and finally made it, and it was absolutely terrific! Everything suggested class and high quality, from the handsome decor to the succulent food. I had the "Hunter's Basket," mountain cheese in puff pastry with a tangy pomegranate sauce, for an appetizer and the black pork for the main. Both were sumptuous but the pork amazed; I felt like I was eating whipped cream because the meat was so light and soft! The portions were huge so I'll have to wait until my next visit to try more of the menu. The staff were welcoming and spoke English and, I suspect, a few languages other than Portuguese as well. The entire meal was unbelievably affordable.

We would not likely have walked into this little gem as from the outside it is very inconspicuous; inside is a cozy and warm atmosphere from the decor to the staff. We were greeted promptly and checked on often. The waiters were great to explain the menu items we were unsure on and made great suggestions. Food was unbelievable having tried the sea bass and the John Dory fillets. The truffle mashed potatoes are smooth and creamy and the clam rice super flavourful. Topped it off with their salted caramel chocolate cake with tangerine sorbet. A ton of food and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
