10/10The food is spectacular—creative and beautiful. You cannot find this level of personal service anywhere else. The owner/husband works the front of the house and pays careful attention to every detail. Normally the wife is in the kitchen, but for dinner she’s home (for another couple of months) with their baby❤️ The fusion of French, Japanese and Malaysian cooking and food design result in perfection. Bravo!

10/10We were so pleased with everything surrounding this meal. Our server was delightful and personable. The food was spectacular. We do not ever eat raw fish but the appetizer of raw tuna with a fried leaf exceeded our expectations! We know are fans of raw fish… at least when Pertinence is preparing the food. The main coarse was duck and it was to die for! 10/10 recommend this place to all. The restaurant was small and intimate. Overall worth the money and experience. We will be returning.

9.5/10The food is absolutely excellent. The first dish, a mackerel cut in sashimi style served under a tempura-ed shiso with miniature flowers on top was one of the most beautiful presentations that I have ever seen anywhere. No, this is not Japanese food but the influence is unmistakable. The sea bass with some flavors from Malaysia. was delicious. And finally, the perfectly prepared duck served with elaborate wine sauce, was the perfect ending to a perfect meal.

10/10Absolutely marvellous experience. This tiny little restaurant epitomises the personal touch as there are only 4 tables max. Run by a very talented couple, you get a nice view into the kitchen but its not distracting. The food was all absolutely delicious - refreshing fish with a bouquet of flavours that didn't overpower it, perfectly cooked meat. The exact right amount of food for a tasting menu and the wine pairings were surprising at times but perfect. And the bread was to die for!

10/10Just lovely. Soft music in a Asian-French fusion setting. Chef was informative and an excellent host. The food was beautiful and delicious. Flavors were complex but light. Best meal ever.

10/10A perfect combination of French and Asian flavors made our Degustation meal. I loved the Japanese style with subtle Malaysian flavored sea bass and perfectly cooked lamb. The banana tart and fresh fruit desserts were wonderful. We will return.

10/10Pertinence provided us with a very special and amazing dinner experience. The food was original, innovative, and flawlessly prepared. Service by one of the two chef-owners was beyond reproach. They have earned one Michelin star with good reason. We would go there again.

10/10The location is convenient, close to Eiffel Tower, literally 2m away. The atmosphere is not those traditional, movie-set, french luxury style. it’s cozy and warm, personally I like it very much. All the courses are incredibly delicious. You can tell there are lots of the innovations, but the dishes are presented in a way of authentic and traditional french cuisine. A super good experience, highly recommended

10/10Fabulous meal, I would say one of the best I have ever had. We decided to have the prestige meal of 7 courses and I will forever dream of the blue lobster selection. The wine pairings with the meal were spot on, thoughtful and the perfect choices to accentuate the flavors of the course. This husband and wife chef team are stars and you should not eat in Paris without visiting their restaraunt.

10/10We have become regulars at Pertinence because of the impeccable food and the beautiful way it’s presented, as well as the excellent personable service. You can tell that the husband (front of house service) and wife (chef) duo are passionate about gastronomy. The flavors are an exotic and creative fusion of Asian and European, without being over-the-top.

10/10Excellent experience from the beginning to the end, and special appreciation for the team who went the extra-extra mile to accommodate specific dietary requirements. Each dish was fresh and tasty, presented with beauty and style. Service was spot on and the overall atmosphere very calm. We look forward to coming back during our future stay in Paris
