Thai food always excites me because it brings back memories of Thailand. I visited Pbaya Thai because of the high ratings, and the restaurant does feel Thai with a rustic touch and a promising menu. We ordered Som Tam salade, Paneng Ped, and Phad Kraprauw. The Som Tam salade was fresh and nicely structured. The spice level was quite high for us, but I still enjoyed it and would order it again, ideally with slightly less heat so the flavors can shine even more. Paneng Ped had a great curry base and was cooked well, though the duck didn’t stand out as much as I expected. Phad Kraprauw was the highlight: tender beef, great flavor, slightly watery but still very enjoyable. The team was genuinely warm and friendly. From a customer standpoint, a mid-meal check-in and offering drinks during the meal would take the experience up another level. Overall, a good visit and I’ll be back, just ordering differently next time.

Good ambiance, very pleasant, helpful and fast serving staff (which is exceptional for the Netherlands). Food is not bad, but nothing exceptional. Nice spot to eat Thai food in a cozy spot right next to the station.
