Despite the strong ratings, this restaurant (or more aptly "cafe") disappointed us. Living in Asia, we know what good Vietnamese food is. Phobun promotes itself as a Vietnamese restaurant but is in fact more Chinese than anything. Not enough staff to provide good service (despite the hard-working lady owner out front), food taste very bland, fried food too oily and very noisy table spoiling whatever ambience there was. Hard to recommend.

Not bad but far from being amazing… not an authentic Vietnamese place at all that tried to mix too many different cuisine.
