10/10A memorable lunch, excellent service and choice of wine. We tried various dishes to share, plus all the bacalhau dishes on the main menu. Hard to tell what was best, everything was delicious. Will return!

9.5/10We arrived for our 8:30 reservation and were seated promptly in the back room where tables are arranged close together. The only issue was the temperature of the room which was chilly. We ordered the cured meats and a plate of fried green beans which were excellent. The waiters kindly allowed us to share the next two dishes one after the other (monkfish and shrimp rice and a fillet). Again both dishes were excellent. We ended with a stewed pear. Excellent food and service. Highly recommended.

6.5/10Bochechas and “Atum em escabeche” were great, but everything else meh… portion too small to share and not worth the price. We were a group of 4. We order 4 entrances, two plates and then one extra more, and a dessert, and I must say I add to eat something afterwards.

10/10A real "oasis" of Portuguese cuisine in Lisbon. From the starters to the main course and desserts a delicious gastronomic experience in the best of the Portuguese cuisine. Quality of ingredients and superb preparation. A must go in Lisbon, conveniently located near Principe Real and Bairro Alto.

8/10Nice atmosphere for this elevated "tasca" where you can taste authentic portuguese food mainly from Alentejo. Everything is good: food, service and decoration. Prices are a little bit on the expensive side.

10/10We went to Pica Pau twice within a week, it’s amazing! Very traditional Portuguese dishes but with a modern twist. Great service and the location is lovely. Highly recommend.

8/10Great food, pretty poor service. Have been twice now and the service has been very poor both times. Not being given menus, having to ask multiple time for water, plates left on table after the main course for a full hour until we had to ask for them to be cleared, generally very slow etc. I'm not that fussed about having really high levels of service, but this was outright bad and fairly very frustrating. It's a shame as the food and ambience is great, so it's just the waiting team are just letting the side down and stopping this place from being great
