9/10A phenomenal dining experience. The setting was modern yet classy. We went for the a la carte rather than the degustation as advised by restaurant staff. The dishes were designed and plated to perfection, akin to fine art on a plate. The entrees were executed flawlessly with profound taste and texture profiles. We found the mains (we had the veal and langoustine) option to be good but slightly overwhelming. Portions were generous. However we did not enjoy as much working through different styles of the same type of meat. Despite having the variety, it somehow felt like a lack of variety with some of the variations we found to be a stretch (we liked 3 out of the 5 variations) and were not as amused by the flavor profiles of some. Deserts were very well executed and it left us on a sweet note. All in all wonderful culinary and art journey!

8.5/10We are advised that the Chef is generous. But we’re shackled by the quantity. The service is the best. The taste is good and nothing special. The room is too warm even for shirt.

10/10This was my first Three Michelin Star experience, and Pierre Gagnaire did not disappoint. The food was incredible, the portions were large (much larger than your average Michelin restaurant), and ambiance was divine. Their specialty is wild game, and my venison was the best I've ever had. In other words, Pierre Gagnaire is an absolute must-eat-at in the heart of Paris. The price is of course steep, but a good meal is like a good symphony: well worth the price of admission. I will be back.

10/10Absolutely amazing from the inventive and delicious food, diversity of flavors, expert wine pairing and the exquisite service. I have been to a lot of Michelin starred restaurants but this was just amazing.

4.5/10The langoustine consommé was overly salty. When I brought this up, the manager explained that the consommé is prepared using langoustine shells, which imparts a strong iodised flavour. He attributed the taste to this unique method of preparation and “there’s nothing to do with salt”. However, I question the rationale behind such a preparation if it results in a taste that is nearly inedible, especially for a dish that is the priciest on the à la carte menu. The other dishes weren’t bad, but I struggled to understand why they are described as pioneering. Besides, the presentation seemed lacking in finesse. Moreover, as a solo guest, I enjoyed a reduced service: no presentation of ingredients, such as the different varieties of vanilla.

7/10We visited 3 michelin restaurants during our paris vist and pierre gagnaire was the one with 3 stars;so maybe we kept our expectations too high but it stayed under expectations for us.But the ambience was nice,the staff was helpful and friendly and the chef’s visit to all tables was a bonus.

10/10I am so fortunate to get a chance to dine at Pierre Gagnaire. Have been trying to get a table since my last 2 visits to Paris. The food and experience is nothing short of AMAZING! Beyond that can be described in words. Nothing like I have ever had before, just mind blowing. I am already thinking about my next visit

6/10Well even though there was a special note that mentioned it was a birthday reservation nobody was aware that it was something important that we decided to enjoy in this restaurant. The birthday girl thought the food was awful and mostly uneatable. I on the other hand really enjoyed the food. That is why the review is 3 stars for the food. The service was hit and miss. Some major mistakes not worthy of 3 Michelin star restaurant like being rushed when presenting certain plates of food. Although as I we mentioned we were on a birthday reservation we were given the worst table in the restaurant. So the ambiance got 3/5. All I can say this restaurant can be either amazing or gawd awful. All of this could be fixed by paying a little bit more attention by the abundant staff. Finally in 2022 both menus could be with prices not the female one without prices. Especially if the manager wants to give the unsatisfied female guest his phone number.

7/10Lovely ambience and service. attentive staff. knowledgeable sommelier. First round of mouche bouche lovely; hereafter unbalanced and greasy food. Fish courses without seasoning; bread burnt, truffle dishes with chunks of truffle. no finnesse.

10/10This is an exceptional restaurant in every way. The dishes might be small but there are so many to each course you feel like you have had a banquet by the end. The flavours are amazing. Of course, the prices are exceptional too, but that is what you must accept if you go to a Michelin starred restaurant.
