I liked the concept of the restaurant and the service and the food were both amazing. The blind concept allowed me to focus more on the taste of the food

+1When we were first seated, they asked about allergies. I told them I’m allergic to mustard. Later, when the second course was served by a different waiter, they asked again about allergies. I repeated “mustard,” and they said it was fine—so we started eating. My friend had already taken a bite when they suddenly came back and took both our plates away without a word. At that point, I assumed the dish must’ve had mustard in it. But then they just returned the exact same plates and told us it was okay to eat. We never said either of us was vegan. But when the main course came, they brought one beef dish and one tofu dish. We were confused, but the staff only explained after we’d finished eating. So we asked: why did we get one meat and one vegan dish? They said one of the waiters thought we said one of us was vegan. We never said anything like that… Maybe put that energy into remembering my allergy instead? They offered us another steak to make up for it, but we declined.

8.5/10It was a new and different experience sitting in front of the kitchen. The wine list was wonderful. We liked the food. The dessert we liked a bit less. The staff were amazing the best service.

Portion was not enough. 6 course Dinner price is reasonable but wines are very pricy. There is no kid friendly menu. Overall, wouldn't highly recommend here. Unique plates though.

9.5/10I had dinner at Pierre Sang tonight, and it was an exceptional experience. The surprise tasting menu was an inventive fusion of Korean and French flavors, each dish beautifully crafted and full of surprises. The staff was attentive and accommodating, thoughtfully addressing allergies with ease. Definitely need for reservation, the restaurant was packed. Great value for money—highly recommended!

6.5/10Second time back. First time was a few years back and it was perfect. A few years on and the food quality has dropped, it went from being excellent to a good bistro meal. Perhaps something to do with them keeping the menu price the same this whole time. Service was great. Would be good to see more natural wine options.

5.5/10I used to love this restaurant. I find the quality of the food and also the cooking has dropped. Last night, the main course was a very low quality cut of pork, cooked to death, cold purée, and almost raw turnip. We complained and had our course replaced with hot purée and overcooked salmon. Based on the reputation of the owner-chef, past experience and the price point, this is not up to standard in my opinion. The entrées were better and the dessert delicious.

10/10Every time I visit Paris, I make it a point to come to Pierre Sang in Oberkampf because the food is impeccable! I usually join for lunch for a more casual vibe, but the dinner service is even more delightful. The setting is intimate and the service and interactivity is so wonderful. I hope to continue visiting Paris and dining at Pierre Sang in Oberkampf for years to come.

10/10The host/Manager Max went out of his way to accommodate us (my friend in a wheelchair) when there had been information that was left out of the booking towards the restaurant and made our experience a true joy. The food was incredible, the next dish impossibly better than the last. Wines were perfectly paired. Pierre came and visited our table during the sitting. One of the best evenings in a long time. 4/10Concept and price point great. Wanted food and service to be better. Hoping/expecting the Korean influence to elevate dishes, just didn’t get much of that. Utensils should be replaced each course, definitely not set back on table by servers, would change experience.

10/10We found the guessing game for each dish very unique and entertaining! It made each dish a new challenge and in doing so, made the menu more memorable. We also appreciated that they were considerate of all our party’s dietary restrictions. Not sure if it was worth the price, but would recommend to anyone visiting Paris who wants to try something new and experimental!

10/10I somehow didn’t confirm my reservation. I put in my credit card information when asked, but they sent me a cancellation notice and I just wrongly assumed it was a confirmation email. So I basically arrived without a reservation and they were very kind and found us a seat anyway. The food and experience were great. Highly recommend

3/10I was so excited to visit this spot after reading the reviews online and write ups in reputable food blogs.. I cant express how disappointed my partner and I were. The food was gross. Im sorry, but it was truly bad. No flavor, no creativity. We received a piece of brie cheese for one course (nothing special to it - just a plain piece of cheese). We left before the last course as we were hungry and felt the food was inedible. The service was awful. We planned to go the wine pairing and never were asked or offered this option. Had to ask for wine multile times.
