The idea was great of Korean/ French fusion. Some dishes were extraordinary, some good and one disappointing (baked apple dessert) so while the entire experience was delightful including the great staff, I would say the food experience was somewhat uneven as the dishes went along.

it was a remarkable experience to taste different plates and price was fair for that amount of selections. just be aware of the concept of the restaurant as there is no ale carte option but fixed 6 plates menu.

We had an unforgettable evening at Pierre Sang in Oberkampf. You are seated close to the kitchen and the secret menu is fantastic! The concept of tasting the dish and then receiving an explanation what it was is fun and innovative!

We were very disappointed. The food was bland, unimaginatively seasoned, and poorly presented. The overall experience resembled that of a cafeteria, with service delivered in a rushed, assembly-line manner. The wine on offer was sold out within ten minutes, and the staff appeared inexperienced and unprofessional. We would not return.

The grilled mackerel and the grilled fennel were perfect. Outside of those, too many parts of the dishes were served cold where they should be served warm. Sorbets were not quenelled - could have at least used a rounded scoop. They were simple spooned blobs. Leaves much to be desired.

We don’t speak French but the people helped us to make the whole experience in English! Thank you! In particular, we want to thank Alma for her attention. The food was incredible and we definitely will recommend the experience!

The ambience was great and the chefs were friendly, but we were really disappointed with the food. We had confirmed vegetarian meals by email, yet when we arrived the chefs didn’t know and just improvised. The “main course” was basically a piece of broccoli and asparagus — not what we expected at all.

Always a delight. Was my 10th visit. I always share Pierre Sang with visitors. The food is tops. Charming staff. Everything delicious. Highly recommend for the food adventurous.

When we were first seated, they asked about allergies. I told them I’m allergic to mustard. Later, when the second course was served by a different waiter, they asked again about allergies. I repeated “mustard,” and they said it was fine—so we started eating. My friend had already taken a bite when they suddenly came back and took both our plates away without a word. At that point, I assumed the dish must’ve had mustard in it. But then they just returned the exact same plates and told us it was okay to eat. We never said either of us was vegan. But when the main course came, they brought one beef dish and one tofu dish. We were confused, but the staff only explained after we’d finished eating. So we asked: why did we get one meat and one vegan dish? They said one of the waiters thought we said one of us was vegan. We never said anything like that… Maybe put that energy into remembering my allergy instead? They offered us another steak to make up for it, but we declined.

It was a new and different experience sitting in front of the kitchen.
The wine list was wonderful.
We liked the food. The dessert we liked a bit less.
The staff were amazing the best service.
