10/10My wife and I live in Italy and ALWAYS make it a point to overindulge at Pine and Apple. The twist in Asian Fusion is unique and very special. Food quality is excellent and my preference remains the spicy chicken. Disappointing that their eggplant dish is no longer available as it was unique and amazing. Customer service is always great. Not a restaurant that one may consider tourist based. Just simply great food at a reasonable price point. My opinion, don’t skip this jewel.

10/10We went for the aperitivo which consisted of 9 items (20 pieces, mostly dumplings) and two cocktails. It was beautifully presented, tasted great, and was filling. I really liked their chopsticks. I'd never seen anything like it before - very hygenic!

10/10This was perhaps our favorite meal of our visit to Florence - the food was top notch and authentic (judged by my Chinese wife) Chinese food thoughtfully fused with Tuscan cuisine, for example in a fried rice dish that incorporated truffles and beef. We had fantastic starters (shrimp toast with black sesame seeds was delicious) and a masterfully cooked bronzino with kombu, bok choy and mushrooms, paired with a reasonably priced sparkling wine. Dessert, particularly the tangyuan but also matcha tiramisu, were another highlight. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was was quiet but lovely. A surprising highlight of our trip - well done!

6/10I’m Chinese myself. This food was one of the most disappointing Chinese foods I’ve ever had. The eggplant was way too sour and salty as were the stir fry noodles. Sweet and sour pork was in small strings and overpowering in flavour which is far from traditional Chinese food. The portion was very small in foods and drinks - for the price and taste. The almond fish was made with butter and milk… again this is not Chinese. The service and atmosphere was very nice, very accommodating waiters.

10/10Gorgeous atmosphere - very moody , great ambience with music ordered beef bar then black pepper beef with crispy rice ,side plate of mixed vegetables and the lemon chicken - it was the best meal we have eaten in Florence - Asian fusion with Italian twist - highly recommend

9/10We came here to get something other than Italian food, and very glad we did! It’s a beautiful restaurant, very tasty Asian food (the MUST appetizer sampler was our favorite), and it wasn’t packed like the other restaurants. A nice change of pace!

10/10I regret not taking pictures, but without question, this is one of the very best Chinese restaurants I have ever experienced. It’s amazing to find such an incredible place in Italy. The food and service deserve 10 stars. TOP NOTCH!!! You will not be disappointed in the experience. Our return is guaranteed!!!

10/10We were looking for something a little different from Florence cuisine. Pine & Apple was perfect. My boyfriend had a really goos ginger beer. We enjoyed the Ginger Chicken and the fried rice with bacon. The dessert was incredible light mascarpone cheesecake with caramel .

Pine&Apple hit the spot and delivered across the board. Literally the best food and service I have had since I arrived. These guys are all class l! I’d give 10 stars if I could.

9.5/10We were craving Asian food and were really happy when we found this place! We went to dinner quite early so the restaurant was mostly empty, but the waitstaff were very attentive and the music was great! The food was delicious and I would definitely visit again.

10/10Honestly, my daughter and I are so glad we found Pine & Apple! We are in Italy on holiday and after 5 days of eating pasta, we really wanted Asian food. I searched restaurants in Florence and came across reviews for Pine & Apple and decided to have dinner there. We truly believe this is the best Chinese food we have ever eaten. Everything was absolutely delicious and the restaurant is beautiful! We had beef rolls, pork dumplings with chives, sweet and sour and spicy pork and a beef soup with spicy noodles. We even got to meet the genius behind the food and she said that the entire menu is her creation. The food was like traditional Chinese food mixed with a modern flair and presentation. After dinner, she even offered us complimentary house made plum wine which was so good! This is an absolutely excellent restaurant that I would recommend to anyone visiting or living in Florence who can appreciate her take on Chinese cuisine. Sadly, this is our last night in Florence. I wish I could stay longer just to eat there again!

10/10In our search for somewhere to eat another great meal in Florence, we found the Pine & Apple (Asian Fusion fare). From the initial welcome, to the complimentary bubbly, the tasty appetizers, fantastic meal and the fortune cookie finish, our family was extremely pleased. The ambiance was great, 'Rummy' and his staff were polite & service was 5-star. The dishes were varying and different, but so GOOD, that we went again the next night and was not disappointed. They continued to impress so we showed up for a third night when our teenage daughter insisted we go back. We would highly recommend the Pine & Apple and have already told our Travel Agent to add it to her list of recommended restaurants in Florence.

10/10A great escape into another culture and food in the middle of Florence. We enjoyed the food the service and the ambiance. We would highly recommend this restaurant if you looking for a break from Roman food.
