10/10I live in Florence and my parents and sister came out to visit, have been before so I was pretty confident in taking them. As on other times everything was awesome, service super charming, food amazing, tried some new dishes and some greatest hits. Family knocked out by everything and approved my choice. One of my favourite spots in Florence

10/10The heat and spice were so delicately balanced and allowed you to appreciate each mouthful. Wine list is excellent. Really loved our side trip to China whilst in Italy.

10/10The service and food were spectacular. A cozy, dim ambiance that was very inviting. I had the dumpling tasting plate, the pork bao buns and the special rice tagliatelle noodle dish. All delicious and original. I would go back any time.

10/10We were recommended Pine and Apple by friends and very glad we listened to them. As you walk in, you're warmly greeted by the manager and immediately feel welcome. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and love the decor! We ordered a few different dishes to share and each one was delicious with complex flavours. My favourite is the pork with plum sauce. We live in Livorno and would happy drive to Firenze just for dinner here.

10/10There should be more restaurants like this one! I would best describe this restaurant as a Chinese restaurant that breaths the atmosphere of a luxury cocktailbar. The staff is welcoming and friendly and the menu is full of flavourfull fingerfoods and main dishes. And on top of it all you have cocktails, wines and beers to pick from. I will definitely revisit if I'm in Florence.

10/10A Standout Spot for Non-Italian Cuisine in Florence We stumbled upon this hidden gem during our trip to Florence, and it ended up being one of the absolute highlights of our visit. If you’re looking to take a break from traditional Italian cuisine and try something a little different, this place is an absolute must. The food was exceptional — full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried was delicious and left us wanting more. The service was just as impressive: warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever being overbearing. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance between cozy and stylish. It felt like a local secret — relaxed, intimate, and full of charm. Highly recommend making time for this spot while in Florence. Good prices as well!

10/10This is a nice restaurant with a Chinese cuisine, quite a refreshment in a place of pasta and pizza, for those who want to eat some tasty dumplings and fried rice, that's a good place to do so. Also, the prices aren't too high, so you will be able to eat to your heart content :)

10/10An incredible meal in a beautiful setting with wonderful service by attentive and lovely staff who constantly made sure that we were looked after and who gave us real opinions about quantities and things to order. I loved it and can't wait to go back.

10/10We’ve lived in Florence for a few months, love the city, but have never checked this out. We had a colleague visiting and decided this might be a good place for a special night out and something different. It totally lived up to that. Super friendly staff, very smart interior, very nice food with some nice twists on classic Chinese.. Gluten free well represented and the staff took time out to walk my wife through the menu for options. Also very buzzy with a great mix of people. Lively, but not loud, — every one had a great time. Portions aren’t huge but very nice and not super expensive despite obvious quality. Great find, it’s very local to us and a stones throw from the Duomo - will be back very soon and it’s a new place for us to take any visitors. Big thanks to the team there for the vibe and making us so welcome.

My wife and I live in Italy and ALWAYS make it a point to overindulge at Pine and Apple. The twist in Asian Fusion is unique and very special. Food quality is excellent and my preference remains the spicy chicken. Disappointing that their eggplant dish is no longer available as it was unique and amazing. Customer service is always great. Not a restaurant that one may consider tourist based. Just simply great food at a reasonable price point. My opinion, don’t skip this jewel.

10/10We went for the aperitivo which consisted of 9 items (20 pieces, mostly dumplings) and two cocktails. It was beautifully presented, tasted great, and was filling. I really liked their chopsticks. I'd never seen anything like it before - very hygenic!

10/10This was perhaps our favorite meal of our visit to Florence - the food was top notch and authentic (judged by my Chinese wife) Chinese food thoughtfully fused with Tuscan cuisine, for example in a fried rice dish that incorporated truffles and beef. We had fantastic starters (shrimp toast with black sesame seeds was delicious) and a masterfully cooked bronzino with kombu, bok choy and mushrooms, paired with a reasonably priced sparkling wine. Dessert, particularly the tangyuan but also matcha tiramisu, were another highlight. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was was quiet but lovely. A surprising highlight of our trip - well done!
