The food? Imagine if “meh” was a seasoning—it’s the main ingredient here. This place has achieved a level of averageness that would make a potato proud. I’m convinced the chef’s goal was to create something so utterly unforgettable that, by the time you leave, you’re only left wondering, “Did I really eat something here?” If I could turn back time like Cher, I’d shimmy straight past this place without a second glance. Michelin recommended? That star must’ve taken a holiday in Italy and lost its way. I mean, the bread was there, the pasta was there… but the magic? Nowhere to be found. Final score: nothing to rave about, nothing to rage about. If you’re looking to have a food experience so neutral it becomes the Switzerland of meals, by all means, pull up a chair. Otherwise, keep walking.

Service Food ambiance! This restaurant just has exceptional food with quiet elegance and you feel you have stepped into a very posh friends dining room with the best of a meal prepared. Many restaurants with these types of top ratings are very fussy and not so relaxing. The staff was able to accommodate our busy schedule and yet it was not rushed It was perfect! We will be back when we can spend more time And enjoy the beautiful surroundings

I’m never one to ever complain about the service online but this experience had to have been a first for me. My partner and I were very much ignored the entire time we were there. All couples and tables around us were getting served quicker and they being attended to more frequently. We tried to make eye contact with many of the staff but they looked away and didn’t come to us. We had to flag to our waiter after a bit for wine refills and to order our entrees. The interesting part was noticing he was attending to other tables plenty of times where I think we were attended to maybe twice.. Unfortunately my partner and I felt we were being discriminated against because we’re a same sex couple. I never wanted to think this but as the dinner went on I kept realizing that this might be happening. It was a terrible experience for us and quite honestly ruined the whole night for us.

Very authentic modern Roman eatery. Excellent wine list and cellar with many local wines that enhance the Roman culinary experience. Waiter gave helpful food and wine suggestions. Pasta was perfectly al dente. Wonderful experience.

From the moment we arrived the staff were welcoming and accommodating. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was incredible. Easily some of the best food we’ve ever eaten. Service was speedy, staff were friendly and attentive, and everything was delicious. 10/10 would recommend! Reservation required to avoid disappointment as they are deservedly very busy. Thank you to the service staff and the chefs.

Insane value for money. The food, the staff, and the ambiance are simply unique. The most memorable dining spot of our trip, that's why we went there twice. I can't wait to go back to Rome and have some Spaghetti Amatricana @ Poldo's. TOP!

I have finally had a true Carbonara! We experienced THE best Carbonara and it resembles all the best and nothing like an Americanized carbonara. We also thoroughly enjoyed our Cacio e Pepe which was perfect. For appetizers we had a delicious Lamb Ragu in pastry and fresh Buffalo Mozzarella with Parma Ham. The is a must visit restaurant and it has the best Carbonara in Rome.
