5/10The restaurant was disappointing, particularly because it was Michelin Guide-recommended trattoria. From the start, we were sent downstairs to a basement, which seemed reserved for tourists, while locals were "kept" on the nicer ground floor (despite there being available tables upstairs). The food was bland in choices but more importantly, in execution. I had burrata for starters, which was ok (3/5), and cod "steaks" that were really bad. The service was kind but not overly knowledgeable. My feeling is that the owners are resting on their laurels. Pity.

Hello Vedran, i am very sorry that you didn't appreciate it, but I really want to inform you that the lower floor is very important for us as there are the largest number of tables in the entire restaurant and we have dedicated the furniture to Italian wine, one of the hearts of our proposals. Furthermore, I inform you that the allocation of tables is given by the chronological order of reservations and yours was made only a few hours before (found available thanks to some cancellations), although we receive reservations months in advance, there is no distinction of origin for our guests. Our cuisine is highly appreciated as you can see from the hundreds of reviews you find online, so you probably won't have satisfied your tastes, I remind you that taste is absolutely objective. Finally, I assure you that we all work hard every day to make the level of our restaurant high and our laurels only serve to flavor our recipes. Regards Leopoldo

7.5/10Food was good, but not great. We ordered cooked pizza dough for bread because the bread they brought out wasn't warm, very good and seemed almost stale. Steak was NOT great, but didn't find a pasta dish I really liked. Would not go back unless in the area

9.5/10It’s a great place, downstairs in the basement, so ambiance not quite as good. Food was great. House red superb. Service excellent. I would have liked a little more Marsala in my tiramisu, but that’s a personal preference. Recommended.

9.5/10I managed to book this restaurant for a nice dinner with my wife. I booked at 19.30 and the table was ready inside when we arrived. We started with a lamb ragu in a crispy fillo pasta. It was really good then we had the Roma speciality Rigatoni Carbonara but also a dish with slow cooked pork served with romanesco and chicory. Both were excellent. And as a sweet we had a Tiramisu to share. Also well prepared and very fresh. Red wine of the house at 5€ the glass matched well with this great dinner. Total was 80€ that we found reasonable with the quality of the food and the service. I highly recommended it

10/10The menu was really interesting - a real step up from the usual Osteria offerings- filo parcels filled with lamb ragu were a great hit. The service was very good. We had really excellent wines from a very well thought through wine list. We have to give a week deserved thanks to Poldo and his team.

8/10I have been before upstairs and it was much better. This time we were downstairs, nice but noisy. The service wasn't as good as we were 2 days ago upstairs. Food was good and the waiter was lazy to give explanation related to the menu.

10/10We had lunch in this Osteria and we were absolutely delighted. Carbonara - the best I have ever tried! Service great, polite, kind and helpful. Ambient very nice, not crowded. Location great, near main street. I already recommended to my friends and looking forward to come again in the future. Thank you for this great experience!

10/10Excellent food. Their gluten free pasta is excellent. We are family of five so got to order a variety of dishes to try. Everything is very good especially the fish. My only complaint is there were four/five options of desserts but none of them is gluten free.

6/10Found this restaurant on the Michelin website. Was disappointed in the service. Grumpy, rather surprisingly annoyed wait staff took our order but were not nearly as attentive as the local restaurant we ate at the night before. Main dish for one of us came out rather for cold and not everything came out at once, making us wait until everyone had their meal. Lengthy wait between. Salad dish and broccoli side dish were very bland and uninteresting. Overall as disappointment. Mentioned something to the owner at the end and they were relatively understanding. Def not a Michelin experience.

5.5/10On our first night in Rome I was hoping for a good quality authentic Italian food. Seems like the other guests had also had similar ambitions as it was full of tourists like us. A pleasant meal, with disappointing spin on tiramisu that was crunchy, unlayered and didn’t have much coffee liqueur. Waiter served Prosecco into a large wine glass (couldn’t see any glass flutes) from such a height it fizzed to the top and went a bit flat, and the first glass had to be returned as it had bits of cork floating in it. In the end we had the authentic Italian food at half the price at a bar further down the road.
