10/10I have finally had a true Carbonara! We experienced THE best Carbonara and it resembles all the best and nothing like an Americanized carbonara. We also thoroughly enjoyed our Cacio e Pepe which was perfect. For appetizers we had a delicious Lamb Ragu in pastry and fresh Buffalo Mozzarella with Parma Ham. The is a must visit restaurant and it has the best Carbonara in Rome.

10/10We had a great experience at Poldo and Gianna for our last dinner in Rome. Two in our party have celiac disease; their gluten free pasta was superb and they had many options available for gluten free secondi. The service was excellent as well. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our meal.

6/10The back story of this restaurant promised a generosity of family passion for authentic Roman food. That didn’t show on the plate sadly, apart from one antipasti of tripe it was all a bit style over substance. The food looked rushed, the slow cooked pork was dry complemented only by a single baby carrot and less than half a shallot on a smear of sweet potato puree. The cod came on a minuscule amount of zucchini puree, topped with slices of zucchini and oily overcooked zucchini flours. Gave feedback to our waiter but never got an acknowledgement. On a positive, staff were friendly and the wine list was pretty good but overall it was very disappointing.

5/10The place is pretty, in a tucked away street with a terrace and white linen tablecloths. Staff is kind. The food was very disappointing though: from the bread (tasteless)’ to the tiramisu, all was very bland and for myself actually bad (saltimbocca was just not good at all).

Un ambiente accogliente e molto cordiale, impreziosito da un arredamento semplice ed elegante al medesimo tempo. L'atmosfera che si respira all'interno del locale è tranquilla e confortevole. QUALITÀ - Grande attenzione è riservata alla selezione delle materie prime, che devono essere stagionali e di conseguenza fresche e genuine, in modo da garantire portate d'altissima qualità. Le ricette seguite sono quelle regionali. DA PROVARE - Sicuramente consigliati i primi piatti della tradizione, come ad esempio la gricia, ma anche gli ottimi fritti e, tra gli antipasti, la bruschetta della casa.
