I’m curious how this place has such a high rating. The food isn’t very good. I wouldn’t recommend it. The waitstaff is really nice, but I don’t choose a restaurant just for the staff

Papas was an absolute highlight to our first day in Tossa de Mar. The staff were all so friendly, professional and kind. The food was D-LICIOUS! Everything we had the fish all do fresh, the burrito salad and the cutest bravas I’ve see to date. Serious YUM factor. Not to mention the view looking over the bay at the Vila Vella at night was stunning. We highly recommend Popas and will return before we leave.

Amazing views of the beautiful castle and Old Town. Service was competent but not over- friendly. Great tapas but pricy, €110 for tapas and a house wine but that view made it all worthwhile! Very romantic!

Wonderful food! Very friendly staff. They were very accommodating of our kids and provided a relaxing environment by the beach to enjoy the great meal. We would definitely return here!

The servers were excellent and had a great sense of humor, especially since they were dealing with seven of us (and not all our family members are very well-behaved!) The food and drinks were fantastic, as was the space. Thank you so much for treating us to a wonderful night.

This place is definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Tossa de Mar. The catch of the day and octopus leg is a must have. The view from the terrace and lovely staff is a cherry on the cake!

This is a delightful restaurant that was just below our apartment in Tossa de Mar. I had read good reviews of the place so had booked the five of us for lunch months in advance. The food was good, but not outstanding. The five of us had a great time and the wine that was recommended was very good.
