Nice and simple restaurant with high quality food, the octopus and the paella where outstanding, full of flavour and super well done, congrats to the whole team for the effort they put in it. Super recommended

3.5/10We liked the place, but one Padrón pepper was insanely hot, it numbed our mouths and ruined the meal. We told the staff, and they said it’s the season and some batches turn out spicy, which they can’t control. But we had the same dish at several other places during our one-week trip, and nothing came close to this level of heat. No apology, no replacement, just “it happens.” It really spoiled the evening.

7.5/10We had belly of pork it was deep fried and very dry no sauce then we had a chicken burger which again was deep fried and it wasn’t no where near as good as a fast food restaurant so we were disappointed but the service was excellent

10/10The people that work there are super fiendly. They take the time to understand you when your trying to speak spanish. The food tast fantastic and to tip it off you get a shot from the house to end the meal. I will certainly come back. I reserved a table and got the outside table. Such a luxuary. They make you feel very seen. Tumbs up for service and great tast of the food.

5.5/10I’m curious how this place has such a high rating. The food isn’t very good. I wouldn’t recommend it. The waitstaff is really nice, but I don’t choose a restaurant just for the staff

10/10Papas was an absolute highlight to our first day in Tossa de Mar. The staff were all so friendly, professional and kind. The food was D-LICIOUS! Everything we had the fish all do fresh, the burrito salad and the cutest bravas I’ve see to date. Serious YUM factor. Not to mention the view looking over the bay at the Vila Vella at night was stunning. We highly recommend Popas and will return before we leave.

8/10Amazing views of the beautiful castle and Old Town. Service was competent but not over- friendly. Great tapas but pricy, €110 for tapas and a house wine but that view made it all worthwhile! Very romantic!

10/10The servers were excellent and had a great sense of humor, especially since they were dealing with seven of us (and not all our family members are very well-behaved!) The food and drinks were fantastic, as was the space. Thank you so much for treating us to a wonderful night.

This place is definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Tossa de Mar. The catch of the day and octopus leg is a must have. The view from the terrace and lovely staff is a cherry on the cake!

8/10This is a delightful restaurant that was just below our apartment in Tossa de Mar. I had read good reviews of the place so had booked the five of us for lunch months in advance. The food was good, but not outstanding. The five of us had a great time and the wine that was recommended was very good.

We had a delicious lunch at Popa's today. My husband had the prix fix menu and he especially enjoyed the mussels. I had several tapas to include the fried eggplant with honey - very good. Service was amazing and the view cannot be beat!

10/10Thank you for the wonderful service, especially the multiple rounds of ratafia and bloody Marys! Love the seafood selection and the desserts. Wonderful place to watch the sea and just EAT.
