10/10We arrived in Bologna and our hotel recommended Posta. We were blown away by the quality of food and wine together with the friendly quality service. I would highly recommend this restaurant

7/10Excellent food, but servicing too stressfull and laud guests. We had to leave restaurant after two dishes as some guests had a lot of perfume on, which we are sensitive for. That spoiled our evening!

8/10Posta is a very Italian upscale locals restaurant. Specializing in Tuscan food and meat . We wanted to try a Florentine steak and ordered it medium rare. The steak was very under cooked. The plate was supposed to be sizzling it was not hot . That piece of meat was perfect if you like rare rare. Which the Italians like . We ate some of it and asked them to cook the rest more and that opened the flavor more to a Berns steak taste . This is a cultural thing . We were the only Americans eating there . I noticed pasta dishes and everyone prefers a special appetizer fried zucchini flower . That was delicious perfection. The wines are Tuscan . I think if you’re in the mood for steak this is a very good choice. If you like it medium and it arrives raw send it back . The chef will cook it a bit more The food was delicious we did not have desert It’s a low key elegant restaurant. I feel the owner could have tried to make us feel welcome and talk to us . The only negative….

2.5/10Posta forgot our order. We had to wait more than an hour to receive the main course. Salad starter was not fresh. An hour and a half after, we received the fish that was not cooked. The staff was insolent.

10/10We enjoyed a wonderful meal. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The artwork made us smile as well :). We look forward to returning.

2/10Wow, where do I start?? I can definitely see why they no longer obtain a Michelin star, the place is definitely lacking in many and I mean many areas. First off, if you’re American, just go somewhere else, you will watch the wait staff serve all the Italians with the best service while you sit there with empty cups and wine glasses. I had to get up and ask for another water bottle and the wine menu again after sitting there without either for over 20 minutes, meanwhile the tables around me are getting refilled and serviced accordingly 100% due to being Italian and or speaking Italian. Now on the food, I’ve never sent a dish back at a “Michelin” star place in my life, well today I had too. The Tortellini with Parmesan cream was downright horrible and inedible to where I didn’t even eat it. My wife’s dish was fine and once’s she finished it, then they finally noticed I barely touched my dish and asked about it. Once I told the lady, she pushed a fork into them and finally agreed they weren’t right and were cooked wrong. She did offer to bring another half dish, but by this time I’m just ready to bounce on this whole horrible experience. In simple words, save yourself and go elsewhere, this place sucks and again I know exactly why they don’t have a Michelin star today.

10/10This establishment offers a truly delightful dining experience. The cuisine exudes an authentic and appealing quality, capturing the essence of its origins. The service pleasantly surpassed our expectations, although a slight oversight regarding our espresso and grappa order momentarily occurred. However, upon bringing this to their attention, the staff promptly rectified the situation, promptly delivering our order along with a heartfelt apology. Our culinary journey encompassed a meticulously crafted three-course meal, further enhancing our overall enjoyment.

10/10We ate outside and were the only tourists there. Wonderful menu . Roast pig and stuffed rabbit ! Great wine list. Great service. Nice prices . Great wine list .

10/10This is an excellent restaurant. They were able to accommodate us (English speakers with children) while maintaining their vibe. There is nothing worse than a total overpriced touristy trap and this isn’t it. The atmosphere has character without being stodgy. We appreciate fine dining and white table cloths and this has that but in a nice relaxed style. The staff was helpful with recommendations. The flavor profiles of the dishes showed well without being overly complicated. We loved the authenticity of the dishes and everyone loved the Cervello Fritto. They definitely earned their star, and it was a fantastic dining experience. The maître d’ was extra helpful and called us a cab at the end of the night because the walk home was a little too far.

9.5/10A really special meal for our last night in Bologna. Interesting choices of starters and main courses, lovely and very efficient staff, good wine list and a buzzy, happy, atmosphere. Would highly recommend. Although you do need to like meat - and plenty of it!

8.5/10Located at the west-end of Bolognas Innercity circle Posta is a very nice and quite restaurant. High quality food and service made our stay there something to remember. Tipps: ask for the chefs selection of the day and don’t miss out on the desserts!

10/10Food was a 10/10. Staff were great. Would go every night if I could. I ordered 2 pastas, lamb shank, steak & 2 desserts. Literally everything was fantastic, but the desserts were probably the best part. Way over ordered. Might explode.

6.5/10Good meat, nice environment. Quite noisy when babies are crying. Many misstakes by the waitress: - we were not welcome to sit inside, in spite of the booking - no plate for bread - food is not seasoned, we asked for salt, pepper ourselves - If no good meat quality, would not be worth visiting

10/10This little restaurant has an air of elegance that I did not expect in such an out of the way corner of Bologna. Staff was friendly and efficient. If you need assistance with language they were gracious. Meat dishes were well prepared and enjoyed the Tuscan antipasto. Steak tartar appears to be a speciality prepared table side.

10/10Anything under five stars is an anomaly or a rare bad night for La Posta. After traveling to Paris, New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, and Chicago in the past few months, my taste buds have been honed. La Posta charmed me with their warm service, incredible pastas,, delicious beef, and very reasonable prices. La Posta is a fantastic restaurant.
