What an amazing place. The staff were so friendly and relaxed. Our allergies were not a problem with alternatives offered easily. The food was glorious, great flavours and cooked well. Pastas were fresh and tasty and the secondi meat was perfectly cooked. Our boys said the best steak they have ever eaten and they eat it a lot! The staff were wonderful.

We arrived in Bologna and our hotel recommended Posta. We were blown away by the quality of food and wine together with the friendly quality service. I would highly recommend this restaurant

Excellent food, but servicing too stressfull and laud guests. We had to leave restaurant after two dishes as some guests had a lot of perfume on, which we are sensitive for. That spoiled our evening!

Posta is a very Italian upscale locals restaurant. Specializing in Tuscan food and meat . We wanted to try a Florentine steak and ordered it medium rare. The steak was very under cooked. The plate was supposed to be sizzling it was not hot . That piece of meat was perfect if you like rare rare. Which the Italians like . We ate some of it and asked them to cook the rest more and that opened the flavor more to a Berns steak taste . This is a cultural thing . We were the only Americans eating there . I noticed pasta dishes and everyone prefers a special appetizer fried zucchini flower . That was delicious perfection. The wines are Tuscan . I think if you’re in the mood for steak this is a very good choice. If you like it medium and it arrives raw send it back . The chef will cook it a bit more The food was delicious we did not have desert It’s a low key elegant restaurant. I feel the owner could have tried to make us feel welcome and talk to us . The only negative….
