10/10Attentive service, lovely food. A very enjoyable experience. We didn’t have a dessert but the tiramisu and mille feuille were prepared by the table in a great bit of food theatre, looked delicious if only we weren’t so full!

6.5/10The gentlemen that seated us and took our orders were very nice. The ambiance was nice, but I would say the service and food were just okay. The celebratory Prosecco was nice and the Calamari Fritti was pretty tasty. I read that bigoli in salsa is a traditional pasta in Venice to try, but was disappointed. It was super salty and the onions were not cooked enough, a bit crunchy. I thought this was normal as I never tried it before, but it wasn’t. I went to another restaurant and tried it again (I’m so glad that I did) to compare and it was MUCH tastier. The raw seafood plate that I ordered was pretty, but there was no explanation on how to eat it. I was eating raw seafood with salt, olive oil, and some red sauce. Maybe explaining how to eat it to foreigners trying for the first time would be nice? When paying, I asked about a charge that I didn’t know was customary (bread service), and the waitress gave me a weird look. I’m a tourist, how would I know? Please be nicer.

Dear customer, we're sticking to the original recipe for bigoli in salsa. I'm glad you tried it at another restaurant and liked it. These are subjective opinions, especially with such a unique dish, but we must stick to the original recipe. I apologize for not explaining the dish we usually make. Regarding the cover charge, I spoke to the waitress; perhaps she misunderstood our approach.

As a seafood fan, I highly recommend this restaurant. The pasta is very tasty and fresh. The tiramisu is the best I’ve ever had in Italy, and they prepare it fresh at your table. On top of that, the service was excellent 👍. I booked a table through The Fork and even got a discount.

Dear customer, in addition to your persistent review of the restaurant on various platforms, what I do not accept is that you sit wherever you want, order the most expensive dishes with the price written and displayed, and then complain about the price and the people at your table next to you. There must be respect for those who work there and you must not attack the restaurant in this way.

4/10Food was horrible. I feel bad for leaving this review because the servers were nice but food truly was really bad it didnt look appetizing. Its very expensive we were so excited to try it and got so disappointed. The worst food ive tried in venice.

Dear customer, your review leaves us very perplexed, first of all because obviously you didn't tell us anything about it, would it have been useful to understand what you didn't like? The expensive is obviously relative and we never allow ourselves to do so, what we always want to say is that the quality raw materials used have a cost and the prices are displayed before entering.

This was a birthday meal for my girlfriend and the food & service was absolutely amazing! The mixed fish platter was huge and the fish was very fresh. Would definitely go back if we’re in Venice again!

10/10We had such a wonderful meal at Post Vecie! The food was absolutely delicious and every dish was prepared with such care. The service was excellent—the staff were knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made the experience even better. The table-side tiramisu was unforgettable, one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Venice!

the experience was great. attentive service and always had somebody around to tend to our meal. the only thing I would say they can do better was the eel, it was a little fishy although they tried to cover it with ginger

Dear customer, thank you for your review. Just to clarify, eel is a very fatty fish and is cooked according to Venetian tradition. We do not use ginger with bay leaves.

10/10We had an absolutely wonderful time. The restaurant is out of the way, no tourists, very local feel, with a terrific wine list and great food. Our waiter provided incredibly detailed information about the local wine we chose, and we’d love to come back on our next visit.

10/10We walked from Piazza San Marco over the Rialto Bridge and through the fish market to find this brilliant gem. The minute we crossed over the little bridge leading to its door we knew the walk was worth it. The mouth watering aroma greeted us and every dish the dishe people were eating looked better than the one before. We had a fantastic dinner and my friends thought to was one of the best in Venice!

10/10All the food was excellent: pasta with caviar, Sea bass in a creamy pepper sauce, Chocolate-Raspberry dessert. Glasses of wine to match each dish. We were fortunate to have a fantastic server who helped us through the dishes and wine pairing. As good as the dinner was, it was made better by David who was the best and most knowledgeable server we had in Venice this trip. We really enjoyed a thorough conversation of dessert wines and sparkling wines. And the restaurant is setting very comfortable. I enthusiastically recommend the experience!

It's always sad to read when a customer is not happy, it would have been constructive to talk to you at the end of the evening in order to understand what did not satisfy you.

Lovely upscale restaurant, great ambiance. Food was excellent. Love the bread basket and complimentary prosecco and lagniappe from the kitchen. Fish plated at the table and desserts assembled tableside. They did not rush you through the meal.

8/10Amazing old restaurant with wonderful atmosphere. Service was excellent and friendly. Initially we sat in the garden but we and our amuse bouche were bombarded with seagull poo ! We moved into the inside restaurant, which actually was more comfortable. The food was OK but not amazing for the price. Would we eat here again, no.

A beautiful location, just across a wooden bridge over a side canal that leads only to the restaurant. The staff are warmly inviting when you arrive. Well-spaced tables with linen tablecloths. The menu focuses on fish and seafood. We had oysters (two sorts) and a marvellous fish soup, followed by mixed fried fish, very well cooked. Desert was poached pineapple brulé. Service was impeccable. A memorable evening.

7.5/10Service was excellent. Food - a little disappointing overall. Decor rather shabby. I’ve wanted to eat here for years and years and had the impression that the place was of higher quality than it is. Perhaps it was over lit (too bright) but the walls are clad in cheap wood, the and most of the decoration was some u attractive pottery plates. Wouldn’t go back

Thank you for the review, we are sorry that the place did not live up to your expectations, what I can tell you is that the place dates back to 1500, the frescoes in the original rooms, and the ceramic plates are a memory that we keep, being plates of the association "piatti del buon ricordo" the quality of the woods that cover the room, are not poor but ancient

9.5/10What a beautiful restaurant this is, both in terms of food quality and ambiance! The local wine that was suggested was wonderfully paired with the food. Our only regret is that we couldn't eat more due to our age. If I had known about this restaurant and stayed even one more day in Venice, my wife and I would have returned. We will definitely come back again!
