10/10We had the 5 course pescarian menu with wine pairing. Each bite of each dish was unique and memorable. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and welcoming. We rate it highly has a special culinary experience.

6.5/10The food was generally very nicely plated and the service was very attentive. However, it was the first night of a new menu and none only one of the courses (which was a vegetable plate) wowed me at all. And what I liked about that one was more about the presentation than the taste. It tasted good to me but not to my husband, and was not at the level I would expect at that price point. For another course, the server indicated that she did not know how the sauce should be presented (poured over the course or around it on the plate). At these prices, the servers should know these things. In addition, the meat course, which I believe was duck, was overcooked.

10/10Our server Alana (I hope I spelt it right.) was excellent. She made the experience lovely. The food was amazing. Looking forward to coming back when in Switzerland.

+3Every dish in this restaurant is very special, with layers of flavors building upon each other. It’s truly a feast for the taste buds. In addition, the staff is very friendly and frequently checks on the dining experience at the table. The atmosphere is also great!

10/10Potato is always great, and my most recent visit did not disappoint! Food, service and ambiance were awesome! Definitely one of the best restaurants in Zermatt (and materially better than a few of the other Michelin recommended restaurants).

10/10This restaurant was amazing. We celebrated the Valentine’s Day there. The food was exceptional and exquisite. The service and ambience were great as well! It is a very charming place that uses only locally grown ingredients and made Gourmet dishes out of them.

6.5/10The food was amazing, we enjoyed the course so much. However the service was not meeting the quality of the food, and together with us some customers had to experience long wait because of that. Since the quality of the food is excellent I would have been appreciated if better served.

+1Walked past this restaurant several times as potato wasn’t a name catch for us. Saw it had great ratings so decided to take the chance. Lordy! What great food! Each course was excellent and the staff friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back and will totally recommend this restaurant.

10/10The most kind and thoughtful staff. We brought our baby, who was supposed to be asleep. When she refused to be put down, the staff were incredibly understanding and sweet. An evening that might have been terrible, ended very pleasantly because of the very nice employees at this spot. 10/10 would recommend.

10/10Potato does everything right. Great atmosphere, outstanding service, and incredible food. We ordered the three course menu, and couldn’t have been happier. The ‘little dishes’ - amuse bouche and the pre dessert - were absolutely perfect. To top it all, the primary ingredients are all locally sourced. Couldn’t ask for better, and the value is top!

10/10We booked a table for my birthday and when we arrived the table was decorated whith a sign "happy birthday" ???? what a nice note! Wath a wonderful evening we had.. wine and food were just perfect as the staff. Thank you very much to everybody (inclusive the kitchen team) you made my birthday unforgettable! ????

5.5/10The food looks like fine dinning, it costs like fine dining, but it tastes just fine, or even below fine (dessert, which was a gummy dry chocolate-like ball covered with a layer of fruity gelatin). After set menu of 3 meals (boiled beetroot and cheese, followed by very plain fish cooked with bean sprouts and pumpkin and unbeatable dessert) we went back home hungry and disappointed.

7/10Our meal at Potato left more to be desired. We took the bigger set menu and thoroughly enjoyed one of the five dishes (the ravioli with truffle) and the others were fine but not memorable. I don't know if it was an off evening, but we will not return.

9/10Amazing food - a nice change from the usual mountain menu. We were slightly disappointed that the CHF 79 three course menu advertised on The Fork turned out to be CHF 99 each instead. They may want to get that changed! Also beware - if you ask for tap water to accompany your expensive bottle of wine, it will cost you CHF 7,50
