9.5/10We were warmly welcomed when we came in for dinner. They decorated the table for the birthday that we were celebrating so that was a cute touch. The food is delicious with some flavors and combinations that I haven’t had before. The portions are of good amount, not too big and not too small - would suggest getting a starter and a main course, although the size of the starter was bigger than expected, but we still had room for the main course. The Gluhwein sorbet with cocoa crumble was yummy. All of the staff were very friendly and gave explanations of the dishes. Only downside was that the restaurant was full of loud Americans but that’s not the restaurants fault. 🙃 Also, I would recommend giving a small cake/cupcake with a candle for guests who are celebrating a birthday - it costs nothing to do that little gesture (many other restaurants do it) and would make it more memorable to dine at Potato. Overall it was a good dining experience, I would come back.

8/10We were a party of 4 and chose very differently, but each of us enjoyed our choices. The presentation was delightful and the team worked hard. We removed one star because there was a bit of a delay in receiving the main courses, but we will definitely be back!

10/10Exceeded expectations. Food was delicious, creative, and satisfying. Service impeccable and welcoming. Ambiance quiet and relaxing. We were allowed a sneak peek into the kitchen. It is a small tidy space with only three chefs! Highly recommend.

10/10Potato receives the highest recommendation we can give. We received a warm and welcoming greeting with outstanding service. The menu is small because everything is locally sourced, which makes it easier to choose. We were provided with perfect descriptions of the menu options. The food was excellent with unique presentation of every course. Thank you for a perfect dinner experience in Zermatt!
