I had my last dinner of this summer’s vacation in Italy at this restaurant. Every dish I ordered was excellent and had a unique and creative flavor. The staff were also very friendly, and the prompt service was impressive. Highly recommended.

I came here by doing a really long research in which restaurant to go in Rome, as there are plenty of them. I have to say that this was probably top 5 restaurants that I visit, and I consider myself a gourmand. From start to finish, service was above the expectations, and food is following the hospitality. Carbobara is the best I ever had, 15/10, Beef with truffles were amazing, so the burrattina, caccio e peppe, and risotto with bisque and asparagus. Lorenzo who server us deserves the highest praise and highest regards for our dinner. Thank you, we are honoured to be here and had this beautiful dinner.

10/10We had just met up in Rome, and this was a wonderful place to not be overwhelmed with tourist, but have a wonderful meal, and get ready to go walk the city. I would highly recommend it for anyone who does not want to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle, but would like a wonderful meal and restorative atmosphere. Well done, Prefetti 19! Also, we were two woman traveling together and felt perfectly safe!

Very delightful place, great service and amazing food at reasinable prices. It doesn't feel touristy which is a big plus. The portions were considerable and the taste just perfect. I will definitely come back.

The food quality was very poor. What’s was meant to be a matriciana pasta, was all broken and unevenly cooked it was also without texture or flavour whilst drenched in a sauce that was unbalanced and salty. The duck arrived cold (stone cold in the middle) and when taken back to the pan to warm up returned with half the garnish. The tiramisu was liquid and unimpressive. It is a shame as simple dishes could easily be made right, but no effort was put in.

10/10Whilst very close to the Spanish steps, it felt like a hidden gem. Found it through fork and the reviews didn't disappoint. There for lunch after craving some high quality pasta and my god did we pick the spot. Just go.

4/10We could not find what we expected from pictures. Eventhough place is called as bistro, basically this is a hotel's restaurant placed in their reception. Ingredients were not good quality. Eventhough we booked it with Fork 50% off, we believe it is over priced since the food is only OK and you can have delicious and good quality food in Rome

Even more sorry that we did not learn of your less than optimal experience after asking if everything was agreeable. We would have immediately had her choose something else, perhaps more in line with her tastes. We, however, are not a hotel bistrot but a separate company. We are sorry to read that you did not appreciate our welcome and the simplicity with which we try to welcome each of our guests trying to make them feel most important in our home. If it would please you, we would be happy to welcome you back to try to change your opinion about us and our cuisine.

4/10Couldn’t believe the ratings on the fork site the pictures seemed fake as well since what we got was so far off from what we saw. Very dissatisfying and disappointed from the reviews which mislead us. Thank G they had 50% off… Otherwise would have been the most undervalued meal in Rome.

10/10Excellent restaurant with lovely staff. The food was exceptional we had lamb and salmon followed by tiramisu which was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Would definitely return here.

5.5/10Honestly saying the food quality need to improve, the lamp chop is oil fried and doesn’t have any taste, the red shrimp pasta has a strong fishy odor.
