9.5/10The best food I had while visiting Italy. Authentic, unpretentious, hearty and affordable. This restaurant has so much going for it. The service was attentive and friendly. I recommend the Orecchiette with Brasciola as my favourite with the best sauce you’ll find anywhere. Gluten free options are also quite prevalent in the menu. The Antipasto selection was also very good. Please go and check this place out.

4.5/10This restaurant in Alberobello was supposed to be a highlight to the town's culinary scene. Instead, for us, it was a bust. The restaurant is situated outside of the downtown, making it a 15 minute walk in sweltering heat. What's worse is that the terrace dining location is across from a pick up and drop off for tour buses resulting in groups of flag following strollers, on a rotary with cars turning around and a parking lot is right next to the tables. The exhaust alone should have discouraged us the moment we sat down but we risked it. We stayed for a what turned out to be an uneventful experience served by arrogant, inattentive, unengaged staff. The host/server seated us chewing food and delivered recommendations w attitude. The local pork dish and pasta dishes were unappealing, the calamari soggy and bland. A bill hovering in the 100 euro range makes this establishment a total waste of time and money. Do not recommend.

6.5/10Large portions of food. Antipasto was very good, Fava bean purée was ok and portion way too big, Lamb chops were very good and not overcooked. Friendly and caring waiting staff.

10/10Amazing pasta with an unusual taste. Very soft octopus for a starter. Place is not crowded and is relatively quiet, and the staff was very friendly and kind.

10/10The food was really delicious. We took tartare and was very good, different to what we are use to but tasted amazing. Good to get new experience. Pasta for the main dish was fresh and tasty. Very good wine made the whole meal complete. We felt taken care of, staff was friendly and reachable. I can recommend this place!

Venturing outside the main area of Alberobello for dinner at Puglianova was a delightful experience. The setting was charming, and the amount of food we were served was incredible. We left feeling fortunate, having tried a variety of dishes - and 20% off via The Fork made it one of the most affordable meals we’ve had in Italy. The red wine, especially in its adorable trullo-shaped bottle, was both unique and delicious. Highlights included the octopus and pistachio crusted lamb, both prepared to perfection. The staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring we were satisfied with every course. We will definitely be returning!

10/10This is our third visit to Puglianova in a week. This time the chef surprised us rather than us choose from the menu. Magnificent is the only word. He really is a special talent, balancing the flavours of ingredients is difficult but each of the dishes were put together so that you could taste the quality of the main ingredient whilst being able to identify the accompanying ingredients. Our main course was tuna in a pistachio sauce. Quite remarkable. We highly recommend this restaurant and will miss it when we travel back to Le Marche tomorrow.

10/10First of all the huge, friendly welcome. Our second visit and once again this restaurant made us feel really special from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. The food was excellent, the sauces that accompany each dish are full of flavours and the ingredients are top quality. The whole restaurant including the washroom facilities is immaculate. On leaving the warmth with which all staff bid you farewell again make you almost feel like personal friends. The chef (owner?) asks all guests how they are enjoying their meal. And is there to say goodnight. This restaurant is a gem and deserves every success. If you are in Alberobello don’t taken the easy option and go to the eateries around the Trulli instead wander just a few hundred metres for a treat of excellent food and service. You won’t regret it.

The staff greeted us very friendly and took us to our table immediately. Their demeanor was calm and friendly and helped us through the menu. Each dish was terrific from the anti pasta through the dolce. If you have multiple days a second dining is worthwhile. Thank you to the staff and the Chef who is very friendly and chatted with us also.

9.5/10As one of the first stops in Alberobello, this cozy restaurant can be easy to miss but is one of the gems for classic traditional Puglian dishes. The service was excellent with a great attitude towards sharing the cultural cuisine of the region.
