A wonderful dinner at Puglianova in Alberobello, outside the touristy center of town, near our trullo. We started with beef tartare with grana padana & a red onion jam, and roasted octopus on a bed of creamed potatoes & Swiss chard. For main courses, tagliatelle with wild boar ragù and fave & cicoria (one of my favorite pugliese dishes). After dinner, an Amaro Pugliese. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent, as well!

10/10We had to wait a bit for a table inside but once seated, service was quick and food was wonderful. We were surprised and grateful to be offered Amaro and coffee on the house as a note of appreciation for our patience. Thank you!

10/10The staff were all very pleasant and helpful in choosing the wine and the food choices The food was plentiful and,so we shared a starter of meatballs, delicious. My wife went for the steak,while I opted for shrimps. Both were a success!

9.5/10The best food I had while visiting Italy. Authentic, unpretentious, hearty and affordable. This restaurant has so much going for it. The service was attentive and friendly. I recommend the Orecchiette with Brasciola as my favourite with the best sauce you’ll find anywhere. Gluten free options are also quite prevalent in the menu. The Antipasto selection was also very good. Please go and check this place out.

4.5/10This restaurant in Alberobello was supposed to be a highlight to the town's culinary scene. Instead, for us, it was a bust. The restaurant is situated outside of the downtown, making it a 15 minute walk in sweltering heat. What's worse is that the terrace dining location is across from a pick up and drop off for tour buses resulting in groups of flag following strollers, on a rotary with cars turning around and a parking lot is right next to the tables. The exhaust alone should have discouraged us the moment we sat down but we risked it. We stayed for a what turned out to be an uneventful experience served by arrogant, inattentive, unengaged staff. The host/server seated us chewing food and delivered recommendations w attitude. The local pork dish and pasta dishes were unappealing, the calamari soggy and bland. A bill hovering in the 100 euro range makes this establishment a total waste of time and money. Do not recommend.

6.5/10Large portions of food. Antipasto was very good, Fava bean purée was ok and portion way too big, Lamb chops were very good and not overcooked. Friendly and caring waiting staff.

10/10The food was really delicious. We took tartare and was very good, different to what we are use to but tasted amazing. Good to get new experience. Pasta for the main dish was fresh and tasty. Very good wine made the whole meal complete. We felt taken care of, staff was friendly and reachable. I can recommend this place!
