Wonderful experience with local foods. The salmon appetizer was enough for two and the salmon melt-in-your-mouth tender. We had the reindeer and the wild boar. Both were very good, although we found the reindeer to be more tender than the boar so we would choose that dish over the other. For dessert we shared the “house cake”, a decadent, gooey chocolate cake. Atmosphere was like eating in a small house. Service was friendly and attentive. A good place in Old Town to enjoy a special meal.

Compliments to the chef! Visited on a recent work trip and the food was excellent. We had meatballs, reindeer and elk/moose. There was also a vegetarian option for two of our colleagues. Local beer on tap and a selection of wine. The meatballs with gravy were delicious, highly recommend this dish!

10/10We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at C and C! We were warmly greeted by our server Ali, who was polite and attentive throughout our meal. He explained the menu and made recommendations based on our tastes. The food was excellent! We had been traveling throughout the Scandinavian countries for a month, and this was one of our top meals! We highly recommend C and C!!

9/10Cozy restaurant in Gamla stan. The interior is simple, but less noisy and with more distance between tables compared to other restaurants in the area. If you are interested in elk fillet or reindeer mentallions, look no further! Very tender, very tasty and reasonably priced for the quality.

10/10This small, historic (18th century!) restaurant in the old town was just perfect. Cosy, relaxed and non-pretentious, with jazz piano playing the mood was lovely. Locals and tourists eating. The maitre d was charming and very helpful. And the food?.. Just Wow!!! We had the signature reindeer and elk steak dishes which were well worth the cost. The house wine was just fine. We would definitely eat here again - highly recommended!

We took a picture of our dishes at C&C because the presentation was as beautiful as the food was delicious. We never had moose or reindeer before. They were both so tender and flavorful, There were many accompaniments alongside. I especially enjoyed the chanterelle mushrooms. The service was excellent. We sat at an outside table and the waiter brought me cushions for my comfort. It was a very special dinner.

4.5/10Service was very poor. All of our party had empty water cup and nobody refilled the water. The lady brought us to the table and never showed up again. We tried multiple times to ask them for more water and didn’t get their attention.

6/10We expected something better from the comments of the euphoric visitors. The restaurant has no terrace, but a row of small tables outside in the narrow street, inside it's dark, cramped and decorated with animal-sourced items like deer antlers and stuffed birds. However, you can eat reindeer and moose meat. The mushroom soup was very good. Nice staff. It is a tourist area

10/10Great restaurant. Arrived ahead of the booking and accommodated immediately. Food was great, unfortunately they had run out of desert, but churros on the way home made up for that. Elk steak was amazing. Definately recommend

Good food, no complaints about the quality but the service was among the poorest I've ever seen. I'm a waiter and if at my job I behaved like the pigtailed waiter who works there, I would be fired after a week. The waiter was rude, it seemed that the customers were bothering him, halfway through dinner he saw my empty glass (the bottle was still full) and came to take it away from the table, as if to urge me to leave. Furthermore, throughout our stay in Sweden we never had to pay for water, while in this place they charged us €8 (90 Kr.) for 1L of water, as if we were in the Sahara desert. The environment was poorly maintained, a place with these prices cannot have paper napkins and Chinese electric candles on the table. The meat was good but everything else, from the service to the environment, made the experience bad. Not recommended

The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were helpful with their recommendations and the service was friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant for authentic, high quality Nordic cuisine.
