A superb experience from start to finish . Exceptional service and a fantastic Sommelier (Antois) who provided great information on the wine pairing enhanced the overall experience. The food was faultless and it was wonderful to see the chefs in action in the open kitchen and meet Guillaume Barengo. We would return again from the UK to eat here. Thank you

A really incredible meal at a very reasonable price. Every dish was beautifully presented. The depth and richness of the sauces was outstanding. The cheese room added to the experience. The staff were excellent. I’d highly recommend.

We had an excellent dinner on our holiday, superbly prepared food delivered by professional, friendly and engaging staff. The set menu was a good mix of vegetable, seafood, fish and meat courses followed by deserts. My particular favourite was the sea bass but I would happily have them all again. We cannot recommend it highly enough

Celebrating a friend’s 60th birthday. From the reception to the table, discerning service with excellent food and wine pairing. The chef was able to exhibit his full repertoire of culinary skills and the sommelier matched him perfectly. We shall return!

We were delighted by the food. I tried so many new flavors here. I have dined at 50+ Michelin-starred restaurants and I would definitely put this in my top 10 based on the food. The salmon in particular was exceptionally well done. My only small critique would be the wine, and the limited English language service. But in France I understand this so it would not be fair to penalise the restaurant.

So many courses, and each better than the next! Three dessert courses might have been one too many, but I'm not complaining.

We enjoyed an outstanding meal at Le Cerisier, choosing the full gambit of 7 courses. The crab and lobster dishes were highlights for us and the wine choices were also excellent. Service was attentive and the setting very pleasant. Prices are on the steep side but not as crazy as Paris or London. Some other restaurants in Lille are edgier, however for high quality gastronomy with "proper" sauces and other French cuisine elements then Le Cerisier is an excellent option.

Just had a truly fabulous meal at Le Cerisier. Excellent, attentive waiting staff, and superb food. Each course was delicious and the expertise of the chef team brought out very possible nuance and flavour. One of our best ever Michelin stared meals. We shall definitely return.

This excellent restaurant it's very rapid service with lots of really wonderful dishes enterprising and delightful flavours I will go there again again again! Service is quite rapid every 20 minutes for each course until the third dish. Yet again that was a long wait for the fourth – – 55 minutes, last time 45 minutes. What seems to the issue when they get busy they are dealing with the new arrivals, once got past that once again prompt service and wonderful food

Superb on fish dishes clearly chef favourite. Desert chef inspired and really good. Duck was typical water bath WRONG- chewy and dense fat layer not rendered and crispy. Also dislike waiting while each batch of previous dishes goes out to later tables while waiting for my next course as the kitchen seems unable to plate different dishes at the same time for tables at different stages of the menu In short don’t book a table for 19.00 - you will wait till 20.00 when the batch of the first course for you and the subsequent 4/5 tables is plated together.

Great Service, amazing food - they way the food is served to you is remarkable, from the presentation to the flavours - the whole experience is a cut above the rest - would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a 1st class dining experience.

+3Outstanding.delightful welcome and great entertainment to watch the chefs at work. However some of the food was better than good- totally memorable. Start with the gin jelly with tonic meringue foam, anchovy and liquorice amuse bouch, and the outstanding perfect balance flavour and texture of the sea urchin,chick pea and lime main. Excellent scallops with barbecue sauce. I have to mention the pear and chestnut pudding- great combinations! It would be a sin to miss it if in Lille.

Loved my dining experience at Le Cerisier, The service was welcoming and friendly, and also very professional. The dishes were delicious and creative, perfect for the autumn season. I would definitely recommend it!

The restaurant is beautiful. The service was very attentive, even for English speakers like my wife and me. The wine list is French centric, but very extensive and the Somme was quite helpful. The food was pretty good. Some taste combinations were fantastic, some very bland. It was a nice experience

Delicious food, discrete but effective service. Great address! Worth the trip to Lille. We had lunch on Saturday. Great wines selection too. We will be back
