10/10I and my wife have visited Paris multiple times, and Paul's is one of our favorite places to visit. The restaurant offers excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and impeccable service.

10/10French cuisine at its best! Lunch in a beautiful square, restaurant has lots of history. Foie gras, rabbit, and cafe gourmand were delicious. Three courses with wine for 2 people was 180 euros, Food and service were high quality, we will definitely return!

7/10We ate here in September and were seated outside, facing Place Dauphine. It was so very special. This is a completely different experience in the winter months. Food was ok, but I think there are better options in March.

7.5/10Nice spot.. nice place. But pudding on a hot plate was cold in the middle and the veal which was cooked well was served in uncrispy bacon sort of makes you wonder how it was cooked. Service good.

10/10Twenty years ago I frequented this little restaurant while working in Paris. It was wonderful then & fabulous now. Situated on Dauphine near Notre Dame provides a neighborhood local ambiance. We were entertained watching the locals play bocci. Service top notch.

10/10Really enjoyed our evening at Paul. the location in Paris' most secret square is just wonderful. We sat on the terrace and watched several games of boules being played in the evening sunshine. Our servers were very entertaining and attentive. A warm throw was offered as the autumnal weather made it slightly too cool to be eating outside. We enjoyed absolutely perfectly cooked duck, veal and côte de boeuf. The wine list was varied and the value for money was spot on. This was our third visit to this lovely restaurant, and we will return!

10/10Our last night in Paris. This hidden gem was a lovely surprise. In spite of a ll Argentina group of 25 a rtiving the wait staff still han d led thing and we felt special. My husband loved the veal roti ND my filet de bar very good. Swill recommend.

10/10Delicious food in a beautiful square. Wonderful place to escape the heat, sitting under the trees last weekend. Varied menu, and everything we ordered was just wonderful. Hope to return next time I'm in Paris!

10/10Fantastic meal in a fantastic setting. The place was very busy but we never felt neglected. Our server Stephane was welcoming, friendly and accommodating. It was a beautiful Paris night outside and the food and wine complimented it. Highly recommend!

9.5/10We sat outside in the back, which was lovely. We had fish with fennel, and it was so good that we mopped up every last bit of the sauce with our bread. Crème brûlée was also delicious. This was my second visit, and I would go back!

6/10Sadly, tonight’s meal was memorable for all the wrong things. We had returns here five years after having had an excellent meal with my father who is sadly no longer with us. Service was supremely slow - and when we did get the main course a full hour after the appetiser, we were told the delay was due to a mistake - that’s why you have waiters - to make sure such “mistakes” don’t happen. And yes, I didn’t wait an hour before asking where the meal was. Food was average at best with the pate somewhat bland and the fries super greasy Drinks were okay. Skipped dessert - but still managed to run up a bill of €134 with just one beer and three bottled lemonades. Manager/owner should have come out and apologised - but maybe that’s not the French way. Won’t be back on our next trip to Paris.

6.5/10We were at Paul 2 weeks ago and the food, service and atmosphere were brilliant. Yesterday, however, they were just off: service was distant, order taken incorrectly in several aspects, one appetiser came by itself, we had to ask for the second, then one main course came by itself and we had to wait and then the other came incorrectly. We asked to sit inside because it was starting to rain and there was a dust storm from the place - we were told that this was very difficult as they were completely full indoors and outside. They did change us, and the restaurant was only 40% full inside during our meal. Also very strangely, a family of 9 had reserved a table for a birthday - but the restaurant had put them at 2 different tables and said it was impossible to change - it would have been very easy just to turn one of the tables but the hostess made no effort to solve this problem which was the restaurants fault. Very strange evening overall.

10/10Very nice and fresh food, very kind and attentive, a super address ! We will go back next time as we stay in Paris. And such a calm and cool square on the Island of La Cité.

9.5/10Fantastic food, lovely atmosphere, reasonably priced - including the wine! A little disappointed out waiter could not tell us anything about the wines or suggest a pairing. Otherwise service and everything was great. Worth it just to enjoy sitting a bit in Place Dauphine

8/10Sweet little restaurant for our first family dinner in Paris. Whole staff were engaging and attentive. Food was so tasty, ribosteak, chicken with mushrooms and liver with potatoes, perfect! Enjoyed it all!

10/10This small, authentic restaurant, a bidden gem hidden in the popular Ile de Cité, amazed us pleasantly with the friendly way we were served. If you want to have a breakfast or tasty dinner, this is place! The food is particulary tasty and all the ingrediens fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant!

7/10We’ve been going to Restaurant Paul & Caveau du Palais many years. It’s pleasant to sit outside on the lovely park and watch the pétanque players. But although the service was good, the food was not well executed. And no duck confit. Something has changed.

7/10The food was not good but not terrible. Escargot was overdone and way too garlicky. Duck was tough. Vegetables were over cooked. Creme brûlée burnt. The server and hostess were very friendly. Champagne and wine by the glass excellent. Prices fair.
