10/10Lovely little restaurant, like visiting Grandma's house. Staff fantastic, food really tasty and atmosphere delightful. When I'm next in Amsterdam will definitely visit again.

10/10On a chilly evening, sitting down in the Pantry is the most perfect way to cozy up. The warm, and homey atmosphere, along with the cheery and kind staff make you instantly happy to be there. The food is delicious, hearty, and exactly what you want on a cold evening. Everything about our dinner, especially the attentive and kind servers will make you grateful to be there. Be sure to have a reservation as it's hard to get in otherwise.

7/10The reservation we had made was honoured and we were seated as soon as we entered. The dishes were well planned and the wine list, adequate. The toilets are located quite close to the eating area and the foul smells pervaded the dining area whenever the toilet door was opened.

10/10+1The food was wonderfully delicious yet the staff made the experience even better. They were super busy with customers but they took time to answer all of our questions about the menu and as we watched them interact with other tables, we were so entertained by their friendliness and their ability to accommodate so many languages. We had heard from many other travelers how wonderful the food was here, which is why we made it a priority to visit. I definitely recommend making a reservation. We made one before our trip and were pleasantly surprised that the staff called us by name when we arrived. Everything was delicious but the goat cheese croquettes were amazing and their stroopwaffel dessert was incredible. We also had a butterscotch liqueur and a Perfect Happiness liqueur after dinner and I highly recommend both. We will definitely visit here again and recommend to our traveling friends.

4.5/10Perhaps I am unlucky given the amount of positive reviews the Pantry has. My food experience at least for one dish my wife ordered was absolutely terrible. I don't recommend ordering the salmon, it will come to you basically raw. They didn't fix the problem and ended up charging me for it anyway. It was a waste of time, seriously. I hope your experience is better. Don't expect them to resolve any problems, the Pantry will expect you to own their mistakes.

Unfortunately when you visit the restaurant the staff member who served you isn’t a full time worker but extra for the holidays. I am sorry for this.
