We had two of the set menus and 5 of the 6 dishes exceeded our expectations. Great value, delicious food and friendly, efficient service. Definitely book in advance, its a small space and popular for good reason!

Excellent food, great service. We were quickly sat for our reservation. The choices were perfect for our set menu and great value. There was a large queue outside but was unsure if they took walk ins as it was fully booked when we looked. We booked a number of weeks before and there was only 5.30 or 9.30 available. Highly recommended

Absolutely delicious! The restaurant has a great atmosphere. They offer Chinese menus, making it very welcoming for us Chinese diners. We highly recommend the classic ham and the mini pancakes!

This restaurant is everything I expected it to be and more. A wonderful traditional ambience maintains the Dutch homely feel. The restaurant was packed inside and out and diners still continued to turn up and patiently wait until a table was available. The food was exceptional, again maintaining the Dutch recipes and signature dishes that visit from other countries, like me, look for when they visit such historic places such as Amsterdam. Such a change from pizza, Indian and Chinese food which now appears to have the monopoly. A big thank you to ors to the owner, who is actively working in the restaurant, clearly proud of the success of his business, yet his work ethic and his ability to realise that putting the customer in the centre of everything does, has made his business a wonderful success. This restaurant is known in England. One of my friends encouraged me to make a reservation whilst in Amsterdam. I’m so pleased I did. Thank you for a wonderful and pleasant dining experience!

This place has fantastic Dutch food in an intimate and very homey setting. Not a lot of room around the sitting area so if you wanna place that offers a bit more space take that into consideration. But the staff is fantastic. The food is amazing. Definitely a must check out
