10/10We always visit when in Amsterdam. It's as if we were visiting an Italian family, where you are treated to lovingly prepared Italian food. The menu is not long, but the dishes are always freshly prepared by the owners themselves. A great place in the city center for a cozy evening with friends.

10/10Love this little gem!! Staff are so welcoming and accommodating. They lady serving was so friendly and made us feel right at home. Lovely people family run.The ambience is very laid back. The Pizzas were fantastic. We booked and glad we did cos it was full.

9.5/10A bit off the beaten track but well worth a visit, the building was covered in scaffolding when we went 1 st week in August so that was off putting, but the Stacy& food more than made up for that

8.5/10This was a great family run restaurant. It was a little out from the centre but only about 15 mins walk from the Station. Food was very nice, with a very friendly welcome from the owner. The only small negative was that we were tucked away in the corner, so it was difficult to get attention, so in the end we didn't end up ordering more drinks or dessert. This is definitely worth a visit if you like Italian but book beforehand as it gets busy.

10/10A lovely family run neighbourhood Italian. Excellent pizza and pasta . We only wish we'd had room to try the tiramisu made by the owner's wife! Great service and a friendly relaxed vibe.

5.5/10It is small restaurant with cosy atmosphere which could be nice if the service and owner were more polite. We had to wait outside at the cold with 3 kids for our table. When they settled us missing plates, glasses and forks were on it very handy served while when some other people came they struggled us to smaller table (as we had already seated) to fit them too. The owner was really rude, had to wait a lot to order even for water and as for the food really spicy pepper was in everything. Even in salad!! That was original. You couldn’t eat it, it was really spicy and then the several kinds of pasta for kids. Not to mention that he practically forced us to order the kind of pasta he want it because he couldn’t cook two different types!!!Black pepper in everything without asking first. We had to reorder and we be been charged for the substitution of the spicy plates. Pizza was ok though. Apart from the lady there which was nice the owner was like he did not want us there. Also to mention that we booked this several days before!! I wouldn’t recommend it.

10/10Lovely quaint little place, service was excellent and attentive, this restaurant deserves much more customers than it has, we were the only ones with a reservation when we arrived, our food was amazing, brilliant quality and not too expensive, would recommend to anyone wanting good Italian food at a fair price, will absolutely be coming again next time we visit Amsterdam

9.5/10We visited this lovely Italian restaurant while on holiday in Amsterdam. The food and wine were great, service was excellent and we had a very enjoyable meal for a reasonable price. Would highly recommend.

10/10Nice, casual restaurant with terrific Italian food. They have an extensive menu but we chose the pizza and house wine. Both were terrific. Be sure to try the homemade hot sauce, zippy heat with a hint of sweet. Yum. We enjoyed the staff’s fast, friendly hospitality on a wet Christmas Eve night after a long flight. We would eat here again.

10/10Small restaurant, nice welcome and warm room temperature very nice on a bitterly cold night. Service good and a good menu choice. The pizzas we had were as good as any I have had anywhere. Good house red in a prpoer earthenware jug. Great meal at a really affordable prices. Would recommend to anyone wanting good quality Italian food at sensible cost

9/10Small neighborhood restaurant. Reserved a table for 2 for dinner. When we arrived it wasn't very crowded but filled up quickly. As the crowd grew service suffered a bit. Overall they were accommodating in preparing a half and half pizza. Overall a pleasant experience with good, reasonably priced food.

10/10This little restaurant was a great find. The lasagna and canelloni are homemade, as is the tiramisu, which is the best we've ever had. Pizza is delicious! One of the best crusts we've had and the ingredients are fresh.

9.5/10We were surprised at how small the place was. But we had a reservation and were seated immediately. The service was excellent and the food was very good. It is not just a pizza place. The waiter made valuable suggestion regarding my pasta choice. We would have like a wider choice of wine by the glass.

9.5/10This was such a little gem in the middle of a big bustling city. The intimate atmosphere and friendly waitstaff complimented the delicious food perfectly. Accommodating my preference of no cheese on the pizza was not at all problematic but instead met with a smile. Great menu choices!

10/10A great find! Just outside of central Amsterdam. A quiet resturant. Caterednto our every need. Just enough people to feel busy but also private. Food was delicious and couldn’t recommend enough. Our host was brilliant. As there was not enough seats outside he simply moved a table outside. It was really lovely and I would definitely go there again:)

10/10We discovered Restaurant Verena last year while staying in Amsterdam. We loved it so much that we ate there three times and suggested it to friends who were visiting from the US as well. We made a point of eating there on our trip this year too. Amazing food!

4.5/10Somewhat disappointing. Two of us ordered different types of pasta, but we were told we had to have the same type. It was supermarket grade pasta anyway, not fresh as I would expect for an Italian restaurant. Vary mediocre, I could make better at home.

4.5/10In spite of the good reviews, we were very disappointed with this restaurant. While the food was good, our waiter was kind of insulting and also ignored us unless we had to forcibly call him. The final issue was when we wanted to pay, although he presented the bill in an American Express folder, didn’t accept it. When we offered another card, he refused it saying “I need cash”. There were credit card stickers on the door. If he had an issue taking credit cards, he should have said something before we ordered.

8.5/10What a great neighborhood Italian restaurant. The entire experience was very authentic. The service was attentive and amusing as well. The food was ample & very good. The jug wine very acceptable. We would recommend.
