Food was excellent, I had the ravioli off the A La Carte menu along with the monk fish. Superb. Staff were very attentive and friendly. The whole evening was a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic service – very attentive. Appreciated that our courses were served together even though one of us selected three and the other select selected four. The food was phenomenal in the plating was gorgeous. Definitely would return!

We really enjoyed the main courses—they were outstanding. The appetizers weren’t quite as much to our taste, as they featured a lot of foam and more avant-garde presentation than we typically prefer. The beetroot and goat cheese salad, for example, felt a bit too focused on foam rather than the ingredients themselves.

"A very warm and friendly welcome. The atmosphere is pleasant and the timing of the courses was – in contrast to other experiences nearby – exactly right. The dishes are refined and beautifully presented. The tomato panna cotta (amuse-bouche) and the sorbet were excellent. The bisque could have had a bit more body and the potato with the tuna was somewhat bland, but this was quickly resolved with a little extra salt. The Portuguese egg pudding for dessert was delicious, but very rich. The rosé (Quinta de Saes 2024) was fine. In short: highly recommended for those who want to enjoy personal service at a relaxed pace

It was the best fine dining experience we can remember having - both in Portugal and the UK. The venue, staff and food were all excellent, and the attention to detail and little extras made it an unforgettable experience. We can think of nothing that would have improved the experience.

Quality, creative food as usual. Tasting menus are excellent value and a great way to explore the food and flavours.

Good combinations seemed fussy and pretentious. Just not as tasty as one would hope. House wines disappointing. Service attentive and efficient.

We enjoyed a delicious 7 course pre fixe dinner on our first night in Lagos and already want to rebook for another night of our vacation! The food was amazing and it’s usually impossible to find a dessert that our whole family agrees on but Dos Artistas managed that in an atmosphere that was chic yet festive for the holidays. And, the service was all around excellent - thanks to our waiter Jack and his team!

We had a table in a corner under a loudspeaker that was delivering horrible music most of the evening destroying the pleasure of the food

Overall, it was ok. The food was good but not deserving of the price tag and some of the flavours didn't really go well. I don't think I would go back.

Excellent service and cocktails in a very pleasant setting. Food was good but a lighter on the sauces would have made it superb.

Great food, service (from Jack) and atmosphere

Great ambiance and service! They are doing some things spectacularly, like the scallops, and the cod/octopus with its three types of corn plate, and that exquisite green apple sorbet! I didn't try it, but saw a beef filet come out that looked perfectly cooked and served at a neighboring table. It's a special place for good food! Will maybe try the 3, 4, or 5-course degustation next time, but I wanted things from each of them and not the others.

We had an amazing meal here, celebrating my wife's birthday. The service was impeccable - shout-out to Phillipe - the interior of the restaurant was beautiful, and the food was absolutely delicious. From the moment we walked in, we were treated as special guests. I had the seared duck breast with balsamic reduction and baked potatoes. My wife had two starters: the seared scallops and lobster bisque. All three dishes were fantastic, the best meal we had during our two weeks in Portugal. (Also, the gin and tonic I had, with several juniper berries and a slice of dried lemon in it, was one of the best I've had.) We highly recommend this restaurant.
