Great ambiance and service! They are doing some things spectacularly, like the scallops, and the cod/octopus with its three types of corn plate, and that exquisite green apple sorbet! I didn't try it, but saw a beef filet come out that looked perfectly cooked and served at a neighboring table. It's a special place for good food! Will maybe try the 3, 4, or 5-course degustation next time, but I wanted things from each of them and not the others.

We had an amazing meal here, celebrating my wife's birthday. The service was impeccable - shout-out to Phillipe - the interior of the restaurant was beautiful, and the food was absolutely delicious. From the moment we walked in, we were treated as special guests. I had the seared duck breast with balsamic reduction and baked potatoes. My wife had two starters: the seared scallops and lobster bisque. All three dishes were fantastic, the best meal we had during our two weeks in Portugal. (Also, the gin and tonic I had, with several juniper berries and a slice of dried lemon in it, was one of the best I've had.) We highly recommend this restaurant.

This place is nothing short of remarkable. Flawlessly curated from the ambiance to the service and the food, oh boy, the food! They had a special tasting menu, four additional tasting menu’s and ala carte items to build your own. The only challenges were what not to pick and finishing all the food we did! The restaurant is also located in old town which was a completely different and wonderful contrast to the marina and downtown areas (which we also loved). Give yourself time to wander and shop before dinner and walk in because the streets and parking are not really auto friendly. One of the best meals we have EVER had. Period. Full stop. We were also really impressed with the value. We had a bottle of the house red, which was local, tasty and affordable. Our entire meal was 120 Euro which was shockingly low considering the quality of the offerings and setting.

The service was world class We had the couvert, main courses of beef and duck with sides and a bottle of red wine The quality of preparation, presentation and flavour were all superior to some Michelin starred restaurants we’ve patronised in the past, overall a wonderful experience and very modestly priced for this level of cuisine, no more than the tourist restaurants nearby

Staff are amazing. Food is good. But perhaps chef tries too hard. Remember. Less is more. Tuna can be ok on its own. With veg and carbs. Pork belly can be ok on its own with a simple sauce.

The restaurant is in a beautiful building, beautiful artwork on the walls. We had a table inside but there are tables outdoors which looked really nice. The food and service is fantastic, it is a bit pricey but worth it. We had a lovely night.

We arrived 6adults plus 2grandchildren, to be greeted by waiter who points out that we must control the children ie that is running around noise etc. we were very disappointed needles to say as it not our first time to restaurant with children who are always under the watchful eye of parents plus grandparents. Maybe a more approachable greeting would be in order. Food & sevice excellent.
