Our first visit to this restaurant and it won't be our last. The staff were friendly and attentive and the restaurant provided a pleasant atmosphere. We both had the sea bass, which was filleted (unusual for Portugal). The food was well presented and tasted fantastic.

We had an excellent dinner in this restaurant, despite we had some difficulties in finding it. The address provided on The Fork was inaccurate and the Google maps could not guid us to the restaurant. After failed attempts, we called the restaurant, and we got good directions on the phone. The restaurant is located actually inside the Hotel Rural Bricia du Mar. We recommended to the waiter to improve the accuracy of the restaurant's address by adding the Hotel 's address on The Fork. The service was very friendly, then food was good. See photos.

It was so easy to make a reservation using the Fork. The restaurant heeded my request for a special table and provided just the right level of attentiveness during our meal. One of our diners had special allergy requirements and the restaurant was accurate in ensuring the food did not have allergens when it was served. The wine list was good and nice wines were available and affordable. The food was fresh and hot and very tasty. I will definitely return to DuMar, it is firmly on our local list now.

The pizza that my husband ordered appeared to be frozen supermarket type… no amount of tons of cheese could hide the fact that it was awful. My burger was just OK definitely overcooked and when I asked for ketchup, it was never given to me ….won’t be back.
