Very friendly staff, polite and helpful. The biggest surprise was yet to come. The restaurant is located in a tourist focused dining area. But it is marvelous. Diner served on hot plates but the big surprise was outstanding quality food. Well plated, unbelievable tasteful and decent portion to enjoy. The chef deserves a compliment or an award.

The service and the staff were very good. Every dish we had was tasty and well presented, better than the usual touristy menus. I particularly liked the cheesecake. We also had good cocktails there.

the restaurant is well located, the waiter was nice and the dishes had a good portion. for a 4* hotel maybe i had higher expectations, the prawns we ordered as starter were not clean, my meat was flavorless and we had mosquitos around around the table which made us give up on having dessert.

Food is stunning, every dishes was prepared with fresh and quality ingredient, full os flavor. Really good culinary experience, especially in baixa wich is not easy. Portuguses traditional food but with a great twist. I live in Lisbon and will absolutely come back. Impressive deserts very generous and perfect presentation in plates.

This was some of the best food we have eaten in Portugal. We weren’t sure being a hotel restaurant but they excelled The service was friendly and attentive And the food was fantastic especially the scallops and the veal which was perfectly cooked and generous

The food was excellent, both taste and presentation. The service was also good, although the advice on wine was not quite accurate. All in all, the visit was a good experience and we will visit you again next time we visit Lisbon.

The staff were very welcoming. We both choose fish starters and mains which were well presented and tasted delicious. We choose a bottle of chardonnay from Lisbon which went well with the fish. The bill was 78euros, the meal was good value for our money.

Nice outdoor setting, laid back but great for people watching. Every dish from the scallop appetizer to the sea bass entree to the black plum/apple tart dessert was creatively presented and absolutely amazing!

Second time on Elevador. We came here a year ago and was great. So we thought to come back just to be very disappointed. Service was terrible, almost non existent, They didn’t offer wine for example. The veal was overcooked and hard. I am sorry to see a site decay so much. Not returning.

Our whole meal was a pleasurable experience. Our server was friendly and made helpful suggestions. Carol had the roast pumpkin spring roll, vegetarian chorizo with feta and sweet and sour chili sauce, which she loved. I had the clams à bulhão pato, which are a signature dish of the restaurant and one of Portugal as well. These were first rate. Carol then had the sautéed pork tenderloin with crushed chestnuts, shiitake mushrooms and grapes. Despite the challenging quantity, she polished it off because she couldn’t stop. I had the delicious sautéed wild shrimp risotto with portobello, cherry tomatoes, basil leaves and grated parmesan. A slight downside was the somewhat stale bread. The space was attractive, and the tables set with fresh cloth tablecloths and napkins. We couldn’t eat another bite so stopped there, despite a tempting array of desserts. We washed it all down with a refreshing bottle of wine from high-altitude Beira.
