7.5/10Beautiful building. Took about 30 minutes to find entry as private road closed off & satnav kept sending us around. Staff very busy so no one acknowledged us for quite a while & we felt like leaving. Lovely amuse bouche, scallops & sea food. Well priced good Chardonnay.

We sat in the garden terrace. Two families with a lot of children. It was beautiful. The food was really good, the kids menus were good and very good value. The service was really slow and the staff didn’t seem very bothered with us.

The food was exceptional. Starters of scallops and a fish / potato mash in a scallop shell were large and very tasty, main course of roast suckling kid was very special. The staff were all very friendly and helpful (one waitress did have a problem managing a smile, but that made us try all the more to make her!). Atmosphere was very good, and all reasonably priced especially to eat in such a lovely building.

10/10Made us feel very welcome and food was excellent. Blue steak fantastically cooked. We did not feel rushed at all. Ver attentive staff Booking system very easy. Thank you

3/10Abrupt unfriendly service with all the suave of a MacDonalds. Paid £50 for 2 to eat a pan of rice with an emaciated mini lobster on top and another £35 for an anchovies starter which was just a tin of anchovies and bread.

9.5/10Slightly cold when we first entered, but a glass of Rioja soon warmed us up, as did the tasty lobster soup. Solomillos were good quality. Finished dinner with a nice "Postre de la abuela"

7.5/10We asked to have dinner on the terrace after a hot day, but apparently the waitress could not understand why we would eat outside. perhaps a sort of misunderstanding, resulting in some faults in the bill, who were corrected at the reception of the hotel. A slightly disappointing experience, but soon forgotten. No hard feelings.
