We enjoy the ambient of this restaurant and a six course menu with the corresponding wine. That was amazing and wonderful.

Good table service and good food... but it was very hot inside, because the kitchen was right there

Service was slow. Price/quality not at the level they pretend (4 course menu for 65€ and wine pairing at 35€). Very simple starter (Salmon), great but cheap in-between (Pulled rendang) and average main (Zeebaars) with an ok dessert. Never, never have the house wine (we had as an aperitif) also in the wine pairing. At 9 euro’s a glass, we expect some exceptional wines. All were South African and average. Not a repeat for us.

Service friendly but slow - 3.5 hours for 4 courses. Food pretentious and safe choices. Part of the desert was frozen, the fish main course was dry and lacked flavour. Wine arrangement good but desert wine much too cold. Overall disappointing for the price. Likes to pretend it's a Michelin star restaurant but nowhere near that standard.

+3We had a great 6 course dinner and matching wines, very nice surprises and beautiful looking fishes. Especially the crispy rice on the mackerel was something I’ll remember as ‘it was rice with a surprise’. On the noise and initial sun… that is the charm of a good restaurant. What we didn’t like so much how too many small (outside) tables were squeezed in and how small the table were. Staff was knowledagble and very friendly.

We were so pleased with the surprise menu. We will definitely come back. The waiter was also very nice ; explaining us the wine and the food in English.

I like to diner in a restaurant where they serve surprise menu's. Within some preferences, the staff served us an excellent diner with most of the ingrediences from the season.

OK but not fantastic, some details like we don t like french fries but they said there is nothing else with the main course so we said OK. But in the end it s an extra you have to pay for so...

Fantastic hidden gem in Middelburg, with great food and amazing presentation. The food is first class, fresh straight from the ocean. Excellent service, we will be back again for sure.

Absolutely amazing food, great atmosphere and service. They serve a surprise menu of 3 to 7 courses. Make sure to bring sufficient time, the 7 courses took us almost 4 hours...

I was disapointed as the offered menu was without inspiration. An old faishoned cooking style which was suitable in the 90s for a price which was much to high in my opinion. Sorry, but I will not come back.

Perfect evening with perfect food and service. The quality of the food was very high and the cook did an excellent job in respecting the products. The wine was perfect for the ocassion. It exceeded our expectations.
