Service was slow. Price/quality not at the level they pretend (4 course menu for 65€ and wine pairing at 35€). Very simple starter (Salmon), great but cheap in-between (Pulled rendang) and average main (Zeebaars) with an ok dessert. Never, never have the house wine (we had as an aperitif) also in the wine pairing. At 9 euro’s a glass, we expect some exceptional wines. All were South African and average. Not a repeat for us.

Service friendly but slow - 3.5 hours for 4 courses. Food pretentious and safe choices. Part of the desert was frozen, the fish main course was dry and lacked flavour. Wine arrangement good but desert wine much too cold. Overall disappointing for the price. Likes to pretend it's a Michelin star restaurant but nowhere near that standard.

We had a great 6 course dinner and matching wines, very nice surprises and beautiful looking fishes. Especially the crispy rice on the mackerel was something I’ll remember as ‘it was rice with a surprise’. On the noise and initial sun… that is the charm of a good restaurant. What we didn’t like so much how too many small (outside) tables were squeezed in and how small the table were. Staff was knowledagble and very friendly.

Nice & cosy atmosphere, delicious food and lovely wines. Romantic dinner with kind interactions with other clients. Price-/quality level fitted well. We will recommend this restaurant to our friends and family. .

Great restaurant with a very cozy and intimate atmosphere, delicious food, excellent wine pairings and very welcoming service - and all of that on an appropriate price level! We’ll be back next when we’ll be in Middelburg.
