10/10This was an incredible find. We’ve been coming to Scala for years but this is the first time we’ve been to this really quiet area which was a huge surprise. The restaurant is in a small, almost hidden, luxury hotel. We lunched at a table around the pool with a wonderful view. What was especially good for us was that the food was unpretentious, simple Campanian food but of huge quality. The menu was incredibly good value as was the wine list! We’ll certainly be back!

10/10This restaurant is the complete authentic Italian experience, we ate based on the recommendations of the staff, very personal touch, owner went from one table to another to have a little conversation about the food or in general. Very friendly, personal and above all the food was amazing! Tuna tartar and steak melt in your mouth.. fresh and tender and try the cream puffs dessert.. so good ???? . We will definitely be back.

10/10A 10/10 dining experience. The food was delicious and the staff was patient and helpful. Definitely get the tiramisu and the ravioli. Look forward to coming back again.

10/10This restaurant was a little off the beaten path but so worth it. The walk through the medieval feeling village was adorable. For appetizers we had the potato cake with fondue, the sea to table mixed plate - both of which were excellent. We also had the potato dumplings, raviolo and anchovy pasta. All where excellent. We had the chocolate desserts the tiramisu looked amazing but we were with our kids and espresso keeps them up unfortunately. the trip is worth the view of ravello alone, the food was a bonus.

8/10Very beautiful surrounding, mid-range prices. Service and food quality were a bit disappointing (head waiter leaving fingerprints on cutlery, forgetting orders, recommending only top-dollar wines). Food was good, but not fine dining.

9.5/10We met Pascal at his ceramics shop in Ravello and chatted for a bit about the gorgeous ceramics. Eventually, he let us know about Palazzo Pascal in nearby Scala, which includes the restaurant with a million dollar view of the entire area-mountains and sea. We took a short taxi ride and were treated to a tour of the Palazzo and sat down to a very delicious dinner of just incredible breadsticks, bread and olive oil! I ordered burrata with parma ham and tomato and then fillet of sea bass with seasonal veggies and my husband had smoked salmon on top of salad and linguini vongole that he devoured very happily. The fish was very fresh as were the clams and the flavors were molto bene! Just wanted to include that my burrata was the absolute best I’ve ever tasted! Staff was very warm and professional. Many thanks to Pascal for letting us know about this gem!

8/10What they don’t tell you is that the hotel and restaurant are about three flights of stone stairs down from the parking. You also should know that the parking is not free. It is on the road and is monitored by an attendant from 8 to 24. The machine only takes coins and credit cards (but the card feature was,of course, broken). It was 5 euro for two hours and the attendant had no change. So we had to go all the way down to the hotel and get change. Then back up the steps to put the coins in the meter. The restaurant had a great view from the terrace, the service was very good and the food was pretty good but nothing gourmet. But you are not paying gourmet prices so it was ok.

Dear Henry, thank you so your review. We would like to explain that we have a website where all our clients can check the place and the location itself thus everyone can check it is downstairs. Scala is an ancient place full of stairs (scale) indeed, that's why the name of it. Our place is not the first which has no parking free and compared to the other restaurant in the Amalfi Coast is quiter and less expensive about parking. We believe you can relate if we say that if you go somewhere else dining and obviously you pay the parking per hour the price would be 5 euro each hour. Here you pay 5 euro per two hours and it is clearly less pricy. We also specify our food is not gourmet as you highlighted. Anyhow, we appreciate your word to undesrtand we have to get better everyday. thank you again! We hope however to have you here again soon. Kind regards, Ludovica
