From what looked to be an amazing meal turned out to be pretty average. The hotel was based in a picturesque location and we were made to feel very welcome on arrival. We were taken to the bar as we arrived early before the restaurant closed. I was disappointed we had to remind the staff that were had a table reservation 20mins after we were due to sit (although the Italian way of life is very relaxed so not a huge problem). The food was pretty average, very disappointing for a fine dining establishment. despite looking amazibg It was lacking flavour and not cooked to a great standard. The service was pretty good, our waiter was attentive and they went out there was to put us a dessert for take away. Was a nice evening but wouldn't return.

10/10What a stunning view of the Amalfi coast from our table! The food and its presentation were delicious and delightful. The restaurant staff was friendly, helpful, and patient. Ristorante Gli Ulivi is well worth the uphill drive! Thank you for a memorable meal!

10/10Wonderful food and service. The atmosphere was great and the service was second to none. We didn’t stay in the hotel but definitely would next time we ate out n the area. The art and decoration were beautiful. An amazing experience. Very friendly and professional

10/10This was an incredible find. We’ve been coming to Scala for years but this is the first time we’ve been to this really quiet area which was a huge surprise. The restaurant is in a small, almost hidden, luxury hotel. We lunched at a table around the pool with a wonderful view. What was especially good for us was that the food was unpretentious, simple Campanian food but of huge quality. The menu was incredibly good value as was the wine list! We’ll certainly be back!

10/10This restaurant is the complete authentic Italian experience, we ate based on the recommendations of the staff, very personal touch, owner went from one table to another to have a little conversation about the food or in general. Very friendly, personal and above all the food was amazing! Tuna tartar and steak melt in your mouth.. fresh and tender and try the cream puffs dessert.. so good ???? . We will definitely be back.
